I used this hydration pack to hike in Zion, previously having owned a Hydrapak I lost the top for it. My friends liked the top clasp. I think it's a nicely made product from the valve to how secure it closes. Material is of good quality. Did not have that funky plasticky smell some do. I did rinse it with a drop of soap before use and let it air dry. Very happy with this purchase in the end. I was skeptical when first buying it, but I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for something on a budget and proper function

This is a great bladder. I bought it to replace an old one and I am really pleased with it. I was a little hesitant about the opening because I perceive the sides to be vulnerable to splitting but in my use to date it has been perfect. The top is wide enough to get ice inside the bladder without issue and I can detach the drinking tube and stuff it inside the bladder to keep it open enough to dry out well.Does everything that I need at a competitive price.

This is a really good Hydration Bladder. The quality of the materials is top notch. The opening mechanics up top work very well and seal all around quite nicely. The connection at the bottom did not leak during our first weekend getaway up to Northern Wisconsin.As for taste? Well, it tastes less plastic-y than my Source-brand bladder, but that flavor is still there. My wife was fine with the flavor of the water that came out. My only real complaint (if I had to stretch to find one) would be that the holes up top are only large enough for small hooks or straps and are not large enough to hang/hold on any larger if you happen to take it out of your pack for any extended amount of time.Regardless, this is a great-priced, well-made bladder. I would buy another if I needed one.

Only thing that could make it better would be to have top connector be a slider to allow opening to be wider and dry out better.
