I have been buying Purina Moist and Meaty for my little guy, for a couple of years now, and it has been an absolute game-changer for us. Taco is a 17-year-old Miniature Pinscher/Chihuahua mix. As he got up there in age, he started having a really hard time chewing his usual kibble. He would just sniff at it and walk away, which was so worrying. The texture is perfect for him. It’s soft and easy for his senior teeth to manage, but it’s not mushy or messy—it holds its shape well. He absolutely loves the taste. He gets excited when he sees me pull out a pouch, and he cleans his bowl every single time. From my perspective, I love the convenience. Since my dog is small, one pouch is the perfect single serving for him. The fact that they come in these individual pouches is fantastic because I don't have to worry about a big bag going stale. I just grab one, tear it open, and it’s ready to go. To keep things interesting for him, I actually buy a different flavor box every other month, and he enjoys them all. If you have a senior dog who is struggling with hard food, or just a picky eater who loves soft food, I cannot recommend this enough. It has helped keep my elderly pup eating well in his golden years; it’s worth every penny.

I have a very aging dog and his teeth aren’t great so over the years it’s been harder and harder for him to eat anything that was along the lines of dried food or kibble. We even started cooking soft foods for him, but unfortunately, that’s just hard to keep up with. When I started looking for some other soft foods, he had no interest in it. I tried the Parina moist and meaty steak flavor, soft dog food and he absolutely loves it and it’s so easy to make his dish they come in little packages. I rip it up Port his dish and he’s all set to go if you have a dog that has issues with their teeth or just isn’t able to eat dry food or hard kibble give this a shot. I’m sure your dog will love it. My dog is only 40 pounds so I give him one package in the morning and one package at night which is perfect for his weight but if you have a larger dog, you’re gonna need 2 to 3 packages so just keep that in mind. The second I grab one of these Purina Moist & Meaty Steak Flavor pouches, my dog appears out of nowhere like he has a sixth sense. Soft, convenient, and apparently delicious because the bowl is spotless every time. No leftovers, no complaints, just a very happy pup. Will definitely keep buying these!

My dog doesn't *really* like it, but he'll nibble on it from time to time (while glaring at me), which is really why I bought it. He eats really well at dinner, but sometimes gets munchy during the day, and this'll do. He's old and doesn't like hard kibble, and for the price this is the by far the BEST soft kibble I've found. You know what? Screw it - i'm bumping the stars up. He may not love it, but I love the price (compared to the other much higher-priced alternatives)

Our dogs absolutely lose their minds over this stuff. The second a pouch opens, suddenly every dog in the house develops Olympic-level hearing and appears out of nowhere. 😄 The soft texture is probably the biggest reason it’s such a hit. It works great for dogs that prefer softer food, older dogs, picky eaters, or just as an occasional change from dry kibble. One thing I especially like is the convenience of the individual pouches. They’re easy to open, easy to portion, and make feeding simple without needing to deal with giant cans sitting in the fridge afterward. The steak flavor has definitely been dog-approved around here, and even pickier dogs seem excited about it. We’ve also used it occasionally as a topper mixed into dry food, and it works really well for making regular kibble more appealing. The food itself stays moist and soft inside the sealed pouches without drying out, which makes storage easy too. Obviously this isn’t ultra-premium handcrafted canine fine dining prepared by a tiny dog chef in a Michelin restaurant, but for convenient soft dog food it’s been a big success in our house. Overall, this has been a very convenient, very dog-approved option that disappears extremely fast once feeding time starts.

My dogs love this stuff. It’s probably a nice change from dry kibble, plus it works well mixed with other foods. I always keep some on hand.

was hoping Purina Moist and Meaty would be a winner for my dog, but it's been hit or miss. The steak flavor is okay, but not a favorite. My main issue is the ingredients - contains corn fructose, which isn't great for pups. Given the mixed results and questionable ingredients, I wouldn't recommend it.
