Huge storage drive
Great for backing up your computer. Supports raid backup. Never had any problems with anything Seagate

Good price for the storage capacity
My only issue was that after I copied all my backup files to the disk after the seamless plug-n-play, I rebooted my computer and the exFat format on the disk caused my reboot to hang up on the manufacturer's logo. I contacted Seagate for support and they did not realize the issue so were having me test on other machines and the cord, etc. Lots of time to do all that troubleshooting. Found my answer by searching that someone had reformatted from exFat to NTFS and solved the issue for them. So, I erased all the work I did and reformatted and it booted right up. Seems to serve it's purposed to hold backup files quickly and easily. The one I'm replacing is a Seagate and have had for years and still works. Just too small at this point. I'll repurpose.

Drive and replacement drive would not load and work on MAC. And replacement made clanking noises.
This wouldn't load on my Mac with the latest OS and everything updated. So I returned it for another. The new replacement made loud clanking noises within the hard drive and again wouldn't load on my Mac OS. There's something seriously wrong going on with Seagate's quality control. Staying away from all their products from now on.

Good enough
Good drive. Quick to set up. Make sure you are using at least a USB 3.1 to get value, ideally USB for optimal value. Would have liked more technical details in the Amazon description.

My Seagates last longer than WD
Maybe it's just me, but 2 WD drives have failed while my other Seagate is still error-free. I chose this to replace my latest WD failure. To be fair, my drives are pretty old and drives can't be expected to last a very long time, Still I choose to go with the brand that hasn't yet failed. This one 12TB is quiet and competitively priced.

12TB を購入しました。外付けHDDなので中身が気になっていました。ヘリウムならIronWolfでもなんでもいいと思っていましたが。CrystalDiskInfoでST12000NM000Jが表示されたので、EXOS！なんか得した気分です（笑）

Très très très lent
Le processus est en arrêt constament, juste pour ajouter un nom de fichier. Alors imaginer pour le reste, il bloc tout les processus de l'ordinateur et on n'a pas le choix d'attendre 2 à 5 min pour qu'il réponde
