They do exactly what they say on the pack. A great way of starting conversations and keeping them going. I think we only pulled about 4 cards but the night was full of chatter and laughter..

I'm not really sure that I would call this a game, as many of the questions/conversation starters in this pack are very personal, intimate or sexual. I imagine unless you are truly with a group of friends that you trust, this could become quite uncomfortable. As another reviewer has suggested, you could perhaps turn it into a game, by having a forfeit for passing on a question... no doubt in adult circles, as the game is intended for, this may be an alcohol based forfeit or a dare of some sort. I also don't really think this is a "night out" sort of "game", but something for a night in with drinks and plenty of time to talk... but again, only if you are with people you trust, who you know would not then go and air your dirty laundry... because trust me, if you use these cards, you will air some! Cards come in a sturdy cardboard box.

This could be a really fun game with the proper audience, which I would suggest is a group of close friends or trusted intimates as a lot of the questions. If you answer them with any depth and honesty, could be very personal in character. I would go so far to venture that it would be most entertaining if some sort of "forfeit" or "pass" arrangement could be reached by mutual agreement given the nature of some of the questions. I do not simply mean those of an intimate/sexual character, which there are, but there are also questions asking people recount their worst childhood memory, the worst thing they have done, when did you let someone else take the blame for something you had done and what where the consequences. There is also the question, mentioned by another reviewer, which instructs you to single someone out and give them honest relationship advice. Another asks you of the persons in your social circle that you or others have not been physically intimate, ie "slept with" who do you consider would be the "best in bed". You get the idea, the 17+ advice on the box is warranted. Although it is the same reason why I suggest that it may be better judged for a conversational game after a dinner gathering or during an evening in. Much of the talking points are the sort you may not like to over heard by others socializing who are not part of the group. The box is card, it is supplied film wrapped, the cards there in are laminate like playing cards, the question/talking point is printed on one side and the game's title printed on the other side. The deck of cards are supplied in a film wrap also. I did not find these easily opened and had to use scissors to open them, just something to keep in mind should be taking them out or to another's house unopened. The deck is large enough that you could take more than one game to ask them all, on the other hand it is small enough, in the box, to be transported in a coat pocket or handbag. It could be unlikely that a group of male friends should wish to play a game of "20 questions" like this but I think this deck of questions/talking points, could be used by men as much as women or even by mixed company, it would again require that participants were familiar with the questions or choose to pass on answering them.

If you believe life is too short for small talk then these cards may help you have better conversations with your friends. I love the idea of having some sort of inspiration for chat when in a social setting, without having the talk that is generated curtailed by rules you have to follow to play the game. Here the aim of the game is conversation. You ask a question, other people answer. Job done. This pack contains 100 questions, one per card, and are aimed at those participating in a ‘Girls Night Out’. As a result, some of the questions warrant the 17+ rating indicated on the pack. They vary from the sexy, ‘What is your hottest sexual fantasy?’ to the serious, ‘Have you ever contemplated suicide - even for a second?’ to the possibly inflammatory, ‘Pick one person in the group, what is some honest relationship advice you would give them?’ You’ll need to ensure you’ve got a group of people who have given you enthusiastic consent to play. The quality of the cards is good. The pack is small enough to take with you on a night out.
