Great product
Quality rack, sturdy. Worth a few extra bucks compared to the cheaper versions. No weird smell. Everything arrived together and on time. Quality weights. Would recommend.

Different sized weights
I received two different sized 25 lb. weights. I weighed them and they are both 25 lbs., but one is much larger than the other one. I have requested a replacement of the smaller weight for a matching set and will see how they respond.

bad quality/design control
Rack doesn't come with enough washers. Had to go down to the hardware store to get enough so that it wasn't wobbly and unsafe.

Fussy to put together but worth the effort
It's a misnomer to term this a “PVC Dumbbell set.” It’s actually a heavy steel dumbbell set with PVC/rubberized trim. The trim keeps the floors from being marred, makes it a lot quieter when putting the dumbbells back for the day and it looks nice too. This is a solidly built piece but fussy to put together. It appears there’s a design flaw in the top horizontal connecting member and it allows it to lean to one side. The cross member piece joins the two vertical ones to form an upside down V.I did put it together leaving the screws loose and determined what the problem was. The secret to putting it together so it stands up straight isn’t that hard to do. Simply attach all bolts loosely, tighten one of the top bolts moderately until resistance is felt, then centering the piece becomes possible. Finally, tighten all bolts. Now it’s centered and straight. Will it hold up when loaded with weights without leaning to one side? Only time will tell but I think it will. It’s strongly constructed of heavy steel and the steel pieces are firmly welded together. The welds aren’t the neatest I’ve seen, but with the good paint job it has, you’ll have to look to notice the welds. I think it will hold the weights just fine without leaning. Even if it does eventually lean, it’s an esthetic issue and not structural. As you can see from the attached photographs, the top member does not sit squarely on the other two pieces causing the issue. This will last for last for years to come. The non-skid feet not only keep it from potentially scratching the floor but also keeps it firmly in place without moving. On the closeup picture, you can see the bolts are not painted. I prefer bolts or screws not be painted because that paint is going to chip when it’s put together almost every time. It does sit nicely on the floor.

You only need two wrenches to assemble
I needed a rack to rack the dumbbells in my home gym. The assembly had some easy and hard parts. What was easy is that all the bolts are one socket size and the nuts are another (18mm and 17mm respectively). I started my assembly with a ratcheting wrench and breaker bar with a socket but eventually switched to an 18mm fixed wrench and 17mm ratcheting wrench. Once I Did that assembly was relatively easy until the last tightening when I broke out a level to level the top as much as I could while aligning 4 different pivot points. The unit is sturdy metal, though I wish a softer rubber had been spec'd for the cradle area. I imagine that over time this will break off from insertion of heavy dumbbells on a regular basis.

Great way to keep your hand weights off the ground
This is a very nice product. It makes the fitness room look cleaner and more organized. The only problem I have is that some of my hand weights fit in easily and some are a little tricky to fit in. My hand weights are 3lbs, 5lbs, 8lbs, 10lbs, and 15lbs. The 8lb weights are neoprene coated. They are the only ones that have a little trouble fitting. They do fit - it's just not easy to get them in and out of their spot. The other weights are cast iron construction. They fit easily into the slots.

Serious SOLID, industrial feel, easy to put together
I am making several additions to my home gym and one of those things I am adding are various sized barbells. I needed a rack to hold them. This thing seriously has a great industrial feel to it. The metal is incredibly strong and there is no flimsiness to this rack. I also like how each of the holders has a hard plastic coating as to not scratch the barbells nor scratch itself. As for putting it together, I am not inept, but I’m not the most handy person either. This thing was incredibly easy to put together. It probably took 20 minutes at the most. I especially like a company that puts in enough hardware and also isn’t cheap on washers. This thing is solid. Not that it is the most complex thing, but the instructions were really detailed. Lately I am finding instructions with things to be very lazy, translated poorly, etc. But this piece of equipment had very clear instructions and this “not so handy person” appreciated that.As you can see at the time of assembly and these pictures, I do not have my full dumbbell set yet, but looking forward to getting them and using this rack accordingly. Would highly recommend. It is rock solid.
