Great BBQ sauce at an awesome price

This is really good BBQ sauce! I use it liberally on anything meat like, eggsy, or just on my baked potatoes. I first encountered it as a gift from a visiting business colleague who picked it up from their local Gates restaurant. So i savored it, nursed it until I could find it available directly from the kitchen or from someone who sold it near me. Amazon has a competitive price and this seller has fresh stock and good reviews, so i jumped in and am so glad I did. This is so good. I know, I know, everyone has a favorite BBQ sauce, and really, if you're into BBQs, you should try them all and see which appeals to your taste, grilling style, and grilling stuff (the stuff you're grilling). I bet you'll like this one. Apparently, it's Kansas Style, which I'm certain means something to aficionados or folks from the region, but since i am neither, i just go for the taste. Tangy, umami-packed (but not too rich) combination of tomato, garlic, onion, spices, with just enough smokiness to let you know it's for BBQ but without interfering with your own smoke-activity on the grill. It livens up beans, potatoes, meats (or analogues) and anything else crying out for a bit of tangy, salty, smokey enhancement. Highly recommend.

It's a great BBQ sauce that is hard to find at any local stores. A little expensive, but can't find elsewhere.

The best BBQ sauce! It is NOT the thick sweet sauce like other KC sauces, which makes it even better. A little sweet, a little tangy and a slight vinegary. well balanced. Great on meats and on the side. This stuff is just so darn good!

Outstanding BBQ sauce!

I love gates sauce. I tried it when I was in Kansas City and I was hooked. It doesn't taste anything like other barbecue sauces. It's so flavorful but not too hot - you can get their hot variety if that's what you prefer, though.

While any Gates product is always good. In this sauce, I expected more of a tomato base with more of a sweetness and less spice. In my opinion, the added spice is unnecessary.

This sauce is like non other. When I taste this, it tastes like home. There’s a little kick to it but it mellows out and brings so much depth of flavor. Not overly sweet, not overly vinegary. Just the right balance. You can even mix it with your favorite sauce and level it up!
