I was going to purchase an OR hat but they were out of the color I wanted, so I settled for this (much cheaper) one. And I'm glad I did. I took this hat on a cruise to the Caribbean in the summer and it worked out just great. I wore it on the beach, at the pool, on excursions, etc. It provided great protection against the UV rays; it's very light and easy to transport--and stylish too. On a ATV excursion it ended up covered with dust but throwing it in the washing machine upon my return, it washed just fine, no issues. Both the colors and shape remained the same. At home, I wear it to do yard work in the summer or wash the car. It's just perfect. Now, the brim is not as hard as the one on the OR sun hat, but the OR is about five times as expensive! When I finally ordered an OR hat, I had to return it almost immediately on account of being so expensive for a sun hat that serves the exact same purpose as this one--and did not fit at all!

Even with the hat size cinched up, my head touched the crown of the hat. Doesn't let the top of my head sweat.

Fits well, price was good and is very comfortable

It is flexible enough so I can fold it when I'm indoor, yet the brim holds well to provide good protection outdoor. Light and breathable, I washed it a few times, it's holding well.
