LaSyL Super Absorbent Powder - Solidify Body Fluids in 1 Min - Easy to Port Waste Liquid - for Camping Portable Toilet, Bedside Commodes, Pet Toilet etc

We were doing a day-camp trip. This was the first year I brought along a pop-up toilet and changing tent, a 5-gallon plastic bucket and a toilet seat that attached to the bucket. I bought both products off Amazon (anngrowy shower tent pop-up and 72HRS toilet seat). I didn't want to use the public toilets to change or do #1 or go into the ocean to pee, so I purchased this. I was doing some research on using either clumping kitty litter (too expensive, too heavy), or absorbent pads (too smelly), or pine shavings (takes up too much space). I saw a Youtuber using a capful of this product so I purchased this and I tested it out before taking it to the camping trip and it worked very well! I lined the 5-gallon bucket with thick plastic garbage bag, put a capful of this stuff inside, and placed the toilet seat cover over the bucket and tried it out for two days, no smell at all! Clean up is a breeze as it gels up the pee and all you do is tie up the garbage bag and throw it away. I am very happy that we purchased this, will use this at every camping trip!

Works very well super absorbent

The LaSyL Super Absorbent Powder is a great product that works exactly as described. It quickly gels up liquids in just about a minute, and it effectively absorbs odors, leaving everything smelling fresh. I’m especially pleased with the large size, which ensures it will last a long time, making it a great value for the number of uses. This product has been very helpful, and I highly recommend it if you're looking for an easy, efficient solution for solidifying and deodorizing liquids.

I am currently using Pee powder. I originally used Lasyl but ran out and tried the other brand, for a camping portable potty. LaSyl works so much better at gelling and controlling odor. I am going back to LaSyl. It is just so much more absorbent than Pee Powder.

It works but need more than advertised. Maybe the amount they advertise would work but it doesn't after a few minutes. Who wants to wait around & keep checking. Definitely needed more than advertised. But did the job.

This is a review of LaSyl solidifying/ deodorizing powder which we intend to use in a portable commode while camping. As a test, I added about a teaspoon of powder to an estimated half cup of water that I had put into a plastic bag to test its effectiveness. I was surprised at how fast the water turned into a solid gel that I was able to pick up in my hand. As a second test, I poured a glass of pickle juice and added the powder to test for odor control. Again it absorbed all the liquid very quickly, and I could hardly detect any pickle smell at all. I am sure this will work for our needs while camping. It was very easy to use, and I would definitely purchase this again.

If you use Pee powder camping, this works great and saves money. we use it with our Laveo

This is great to gelify liquid, HOWEVER you need to use way more than they suggest which sucks since it isnt a cheap product. I wouldnt say it does much to the smell.

This stuff works really well, light weight for disposing. Used it camping, 2 white kitchen garbage bags that fit on a 5 gallon bucket with toilet seat, no leaks, instantly gels. In the middle of a heatwave I would definitely take it out daily (I do anyways but know some who take it out every second day or so). I used 1-2 cap fulls, could add half a cap more if it’s used by more than one or two people I suppose. We went on 5 or 6 weekend camping trips, used only at night and I’d say I have more than half a bottle left. Will probably last us at least another summer of camping, if not more.

Does the job. About 3/4 bottle turned a garbage can of liquid waste into a gel that could be tied up in a bag and picked up by the city garbage truck. The grains are small - like a powder that turns liquid into a firm jelly texture, not beads.

For the past 3 years I do not have black or grey water to dump from my motorhome. Freedom ! Instead of using the expensive double duty bags from rv suppliers, I go cheap with kitchen catcher garbage bags to line my toilet. A 1/2 cap full of Lasyl in the bag bottom covered with a 3 sheet criss cross paper towel is all I use. "Crap and wrap" and just toss it in the dumpster with other garbage. The Lasyl absorbs the ladies tinkle and prevents liquid spills. Usually good for 3 days use. Perfect.
