One of the best sauces I have tasted and it’s a real D.O.P. Complete garbage
Certified San Marzano tomatoes are marketed as the sweetest canned tomato on the market. These aren't. They are bitter, requiring 2-3 times the sugar to make a decent sauce. At over $5 per can this is highway robbery. $1.50 per can generic tomatoes taste far better. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS OVER HYPED GARBAGE PRODUCT.

Use DOP San Marzano tomatoes for authentic Italian cooking.
DOP tomatoes by La Valle are the best to make authentic Italian meals with. These are the real McCoy. San Marzano tomatoes and they are worth it. I will not make Italian meals with anything else anymore.

Maybe I was lucky or they started to pay attention to all those complaints about damaged and dented cans. As you see in the pictures the box arrived in perfect condition. Inside the cans were protected by babble wrap. Thank you very much for delivering in perfect condition. And yes is the real thing. The cans are stamped for authenticity on the side and on the top, as it should be. Awesome product and taste. My favorite tomato sauce/gravy since childhood.

Dented cans
These are great! Only problem with order was 3 severely dented cans that I threw away. Not taking chances of spoilage.

simply the best
San Marzano tomatoes are really the best tomatoes because they grow in the rich volcanic Vesuvio soil. They are hand picked, and there are no additives. These is a DOP product, which means high quality. The peeled tomatoes melt fully when cooked. Be careful about "San Marzano style" : not really San Marzano

makes the most delicious pizza sauce
We make our own pizza from scratch and this makes a terrific tasting sauce AND simple to make... just crush these and add a little olive oil, garlic and fresh basil.
