Looks and fit are great!
These are very good boots. I’ve been wearing Army boots since they were first issued to me in 1970. I never wore my black leather boots unless in uniform. I was first issued desert boots for my OIF deployment in 2006. They fit so much better and I love the look and no more polishing. They were just as heavy, though. I’ve been wearing tan boots since then and when I finally got out in 2012. I’ve been buying after market desert tan boots since then and wear them all the time. I’ve bought quite a few pairs in the last 13 years. I love this pair that I just got from Amazon. They shipped to me in three days. The Army didn’t issue zip up sides. I really like these zip up sides. The last few zip up boots I bought was completely open on the side when unzipped. These aren’t when unzipped. I expect that to help the boots stay waterproof. Good idea! I wasn’t crazy about the insole provided. It was similar to Army issue with protection against puncture. I just wanted something thicker and softer. The fit is perfect for me. A size ten gives me a quarter to three eights inch toe clearance. The width is a bit more than normal but not wide, and the heel is a great fit. These look much like issued boots but much lighter. They feel solid and stable going up and down a ladder. I don’t know how warm they will be, yet. I did weatherproof them with some spray. I will replace the fabric laces with leather ones. The laces should be a few inches longer. Normally I buy two sets of boots at a time with one set being a half size bigger for very thick socks. I’ll see how these perform. I bought boots that cost me twice to three times as much and not any better than these.

Holy Rynos....Bootman!!
First, there are two things I want to clear up right away. Size....normally I wear a 10 with 95% of shoes. These DO run big it seems. Had to exchange for a 9, 1 size smaller. That’s me though! Second is this theory or comments made by other reviewers that these are slippery. Not going to lie that was a major hesitation upon reading reviews, but how do 99% people say otherwise? So, I took the chance and bought them. First day I wore them....well it was raining and pouring at times, everything was wet! I tried to slip, slide, drag my feet, slide inside the store, on floor, on greasy spot in parking lot and let me tell you.....those people who said these are slippery must also not be able to walk and chew gum. No Way in a rainy day in hell that these things slip or slide. If that guy slipped on rocks he must be walking on slimy mossy rocks thinking he’s special and that’s why special people fall over and get hurt. Why you walking on slippery rocks anyway? If you see mossy slippery rocks you don’t walk on them! Point being these bad boys rock and yes they are super comfortable. Very ample room for those with wider feet. Had a firmer toe cup that doesn’t dig in like a steel toe. Not saying these are steel toe, they are not. That aside, the quality is great. I like their simple logo branded into the leather! Nice touch! They spent more time on details than logos and bling. Comfort is superb I have one other pair of boots that feel close to these, but the steel toe kills your foot after a while walking, plus they don’t compare to these because I added an aftermarket work insole to that pair. These Rynos come out of the box in perfect condition with nothing to tweak. Hey Ryno Dude’s, these are kick @ss boots!! These were made by Men....Men who have worked their tails off before, after, and during....and you know that because working Men know what it’s like to be busting tail on your dogs all day and if you don’t take care of your feet....you’ll understand real fast...then you’ll look around and notice whose wearing what and why! If you see the Ryno you’ll know whose walking on comfort and grip! That’s all I asked for...comfort and grip! The big bonus is the side zipper! On and off quick action to get moving! Love em and I wore them one day so far during rainstorms and no way these slip Amigo! My girlfriend even tried and she’s as clumsy as they come...if she can’t slip I may buy her a pair for every outfit so she stays on her feet! I did not rate warmth because it’s not cold yet, but I wasn’t sweating my dogs’ nads off either!

Good boots for the money.
Fits OK, but I did change the insoles to get more cushion and arch support. Tongue is padded pretty well, and they're light weight and comfortable.

Best boots I've ever owned!
I'm about to order my 4th pair of these boots. Love the coyote color. These are my go-to boots for colder weather and hiking. Love the side zipper and not having to lace them up every time. I have never had the sole come apart or any other problem. The soles wear old before anything else. They are super comfortable and light weight. I wear them all day and they almost feel like tennis shoes. My last pair are over 2 years old and still in decent shape and I wear them almost everyday from fall till spring. They fit true to size and I can't say enough good things about them!

Kick ass boots for a kick ass little lady
“Ryno Gear”, I spec they named em after a rhino because they’re tuff, well hell yeah these boots are tuff, just like the neck skin on my old lady. I purchased these boots with the hopes she wouldn’t grind thru these bad boys just like she does every other type of foot wear in like 4 months flat. I guess when you have feet as rough and narly as asphalt on an Alabama highway in July like she does that tends to be an issue. Well guess what, these bad ass shoes held up! Can you run in them? Hell yeah, she’s run out on me 4 times with Daryl from the Quick Lube while wearing them. Can you stomp and kick stuff with these boots, damn straight! I once saw her kick an opossum right in the bean bag while simultaneously breast feeding our neighbors twin boys while wearing these bad ass boots. Guess what, that cubby little animal didn’t even mind, he just gave her a wink and a nod and hobbled on down the sidewalk. I’d say about the only thing these boots can’t do is change the blown transmission in my 1986 Firebird, but you know what? You can weed eat the brush growin up under it, how do I know you ask? Because I’m watching that special little gal do that right now wearing them while I drink an ice cold Coor’s Light in my favorite lawn chair. Take it from me grab your ol woman a pair, hell buy her 2.
