Q: i have this on ecodiver pump but when i close a valve the pump continues to run?

Trey, the water flow will trigger the pump to come on. Are you from Romeo? If so I know you.

Q: will this work on a ecodiver submersible pump?

Yes! This is a mass control and will take the place of the pressure switch and pressure tank of a normal system. It will operate any pump as long as it is hooked up right. Understand this will switch the pump on when it detects water flow and run for approximately 10 seconds after the water flow is off, so the depending on the pump and situation that may not be a good thing.

Q: how do you set the outlet pressure?

I don't think it is adjustable. Max outlet pressure depends on max pressure the pump can produce up to 116 lbs. When the computer detects that pump maximum has been reached because there is no further flow then it shuts off. Every pump has a different maximum capability. That is how I read my manual for this item. The pump I am using shuts off about 54 lbs. according to the gauge.
