This was purchased as a 1st-birthday present for my 2 rescue cats. They were both very interested in the sticks, and quite willingly chewed them. I was thankful there were 3 such sticks in the package, as there was thus no need for the cats to fight over who could chew a stick. I assume the cats could detect the scent of the catmint and silvervine, although I could not. They have been gnawing on these sticks so much, that I have already had to discard one, as they had chewed off the sisal-looking cord which was wrapped around one of the sticks. Fortunately, these silvervine sticks are fairly inexpensive, so I won't mind purchasing another package when the remaining sticks from the first package wear out. For a 1-cat household, I would suggest introducing just one of these sticks at a time, and securing the extras in a cat-proof location. Highly recommended!

My cat is in love with this product! Immediately when I took it out, he had so much interest in it and started chewing/playing with it. Not too sure about durability but so far after a couple of intense play sessions it is holding up. There is some fur stuck in the bristles but easy to remove. He enjoyed it so much I had to take it away at the end of the night since he kept going back to use it. It’s also pretty affordable for three sticks, should last us awhile. I was able to trim his back two paws while he was distracted, which he never usually lets me do. I would definitely recommend this product
