Well my original fob the unlock pad caved in and really messed me up. I I came here and ordered two for $22.00 they were at my door before even woke up the next morning.so here is what took place afterwards. The fob comes with a blank blade so you have to find a key cutting shop or hardware store that can do this. Loews home improvement won’t do it HomeDepot won’t do it I went to Ace and the say didn’t want to accept responsibility if the newly cut key blade didn’t work. So I called the dealership yes they could do it for $600 and changes. I took a small torx head screw driver and punched out the pin that holds the blade in place, did the same with the broken fob , replaced the blade with the blade that came of the old fob. I replaced the blade pin with a tiny nail that’s practically the same diameter as the pin took a tiny pin file and filed off the excess on both ends of the newly installed blade. Went out to the car put the key into the door to un lock it got in closed the door and inserted the key into the ignition turned it to the first position and let all the idiot lights go through their cycle, then turn the car on I think that work so I opened the back hatch with the fob the turned the car off locked the doors while still inside then hit the remote start pad started up right away. Turned off again stepped out of the car then locked it the set the alarm- this saved me a lot of trouble and money. This fob worked for my 2014 GMC Terrain SLT just as it clams its identical the the one I destroyed after over 10 years of use now the fob I got has the pad for unlock, open the rear hatch door and remote start, and alarm set button and panic button. I give these fobs 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ checks all my boxes.

Arrived on time and was exactly as described. Key blade was easy and relatively inexpensive to have cut. I programmed myself and it was a snap. All functions work as they should, although function buttons are a little stiff, as a few others have mentioned, but they also appear to be a solid button rather than a flimsy rubber cap so this is not a big deal for me. Case appears to be quite sturdy, more so than the OEM fob, to be honest. Very pleased with product upon first impressions and so much cheaper than dealer.

The dealership and the locksmith will tell you that you need to spend hundreds to buy and program vehicle fobs. Not true. Just buy this product and program them yourself in about a minute. You do have to get them cut for your vehicle, but that doesn't cost much. Just don't let the locksmith tell you that you can't program them yourself. They are the same quality as the original. Great value.
