A Hitta Has Feelings Too: Dallas and Chloe's Hood Love Story

Good! I will read part 2 but a little bit sappy for me. Dallas was too perfect and just patiently waiting for five months since meeting Chloe at a wedding.What if she never came to him for help? Then for him to just whisk her away to his house. I ge tit he knows her cousins but still. Their relationship took off quickly.I didn’t feel connected to Dallas and Chloe. Not like I did with Blu and Jacoba. If you haven’t read Blu I highly suggest this book from M Monique. It’s my fav from her. So much so that I purchased it.

Dallas knew Chloe through her cousins(his best friends). Dallas started feeling Chloe after his best friend’s wedding he saw her and instantly felt an attraction to her. Chloe felt it too, but played hard to get, until a man she dated put his hands on her! She ran to Dallas for help fearing her family’s wrath against her abuser! She didn’t know Dallas was just as ruthless if not even more. Dallas let Chloe know he wanted her and she would forever be his girl! Dallas’ assistant was jealous of Dallas and Chloe’s relationship. She wanted revenge against Dallas and she was determined to make him pay! A great read!

Whoop that trick! Lawd I’m so over this broad. I can’t wait to see the way this all comes back to haunt Rochelle.

Listen, I knew Rochelle was going to be a problem but I didn't think she was gon' cut up like that! She's out here competing hard with Megan for the crown because, Rochelle is as crazy as she was. I'm just waiting on the get back from Dallas because, when it comes, she won't be ready. Speaking of Dallas, he and Chloe did not disappoint. They were excruciatingly cute. Dallas wasted no time at all making his Chloe his lady and proving to her he was exactly what she needed. When he got her parents out of jail, I was ready to marry Dallas my damn self. This man really can get anything done. If you thought you loved the Smith family, you're going to love the McQueens. Dallas' family is a mess but, in a good way. I absolutely loved his parents. I'm just waiting on Dime to get some act right so, Francesca will finally marry him. And, that ending tho! Chile, let me hurry myself right on over to book two so I can see Rochelle's crazy azz get just what she deserves.

Dallas was all that and a bag of chips!! That accent! I could actually “hear” him talking as I was reading. He had Chloe’s back from day one. I hate how he underestimated Ro. He should have learned better by seeing what his friends, Shaun and Step, had gone through with their exes. My only problem was the book cover. This is the third book in which Dallas has been described. This man is repeatedly described as so light that he looks white and has blond dreads. Somebody tell me who is this man on the cover and who approved him to represent Dallas???!!!

Goodness! The writer gives us one rock 'em sock I'm story right out the gate.We are introduced to a leading man which is Dallas and we get everything we asked for and then some. The story may seem like something you've seen before but the feel is not. In this story we get an alpha male that has quite a few sides to him and you like this. We also get a bonus in a leading lady with Choke being not only likable but independent as well. This was written well and the pace is steady. This was storytelling done right and let's you know ,you are going to come back for more.

The was a pretty good read. I really enjoyed it. Dallas was an alpha male for sure, yahurme! I love it. I loved how he took care of Chloe and his family. They did not want for anything. Dallas and Chloe had a great connection that was quite evident when they interacted with one another. Of course a scorned chick has started some mess, so I look forward to finding out what happens in part 2. Good job, M. Monique.
