ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT !!!
This gadget makes perfect yakisoba style noodles in that you don't end up with a soup, rather you end up with perfectly al dente flavored noodles. 1. Place the dry ramen noodle brick in the cooker. 2. Add water UP TO the Fill Line. 3. Microwave on High for 3 minutes. 4 Stir in the seasoning. The cooker is made from a material that amplifies the heating effect in the cooking process. Now, while it's boiling, it looks like it's going to make a mess all over your microwave carousel ... IT WON'T ... as long as you only put in water UP TO the fill line. If you're a worrier ... well, just don't watch it and give in to the process. If you don't like your seasoning overly salty, then don't use the whole packet of seasoning. As you stir, any fluid that's left will be absorbed into the noodle ... leaving maybe 1/2 teaspoon of fluid left in the dish. The handles certainly stay cool throughout ... the body stays relatively cool. I like to eat my noodles with chopsticks, so the cooker is the perfect noodle bowl in the end. Great for a light lunch/supper or snack. If you love noodles, you'll love this.

Easy, fast, but tastes different
I really like this product for the quickness and ease. Pretty simple! Take any package noodles that are in the rectangular format and insert with seasoning, fill the line to the line in the container, and microwave for 3 minutes. Wait a few minutes to cool down and mix up and eat. You can't get any more simple than that!!! The noodles do take a little different I think it is because the starch builds up in the water, versus if you read more noodle soup directions it says to use 2 to 3 cups of water, so you are cutting down the amount of water used. So it tastes a little different since the noodles are not boiling for as long and the amount of water used. If you really enjoy the soup part of noodles, then his product is not for you. Stick with the boiling water in a pot. I tried a few of the instant fried noodles where you drain the water and pix the packets, these have been amazing! Especially the Indomie Mi Goreng Instant Stir Fry Noodles, I will cook or boil an egg while the noodles are microwaving and put it with the noodles with some chopped green onions, and it has been perfect. Or you can take some leftover meat (While cold) and cut it up and once the noodles are done cooking immediately throw them in with the noodles and mix with sauce packets and that has been great as well.

It's a ramen-shaped bowl. It works. Here's how to use it right.
How do you review this? At a high level, it works as advertised. You buy this not because the material is some special ramen cooking material, you're literally buying this because, like me, you didn't have a bowl that fit the shape of cheap Maruchan or Nissin ramen bags and you're tired of throwing away styrofoam ramen cups. Like I said, with so many factors like personal ramen noodle preferences, all the microwaves out there cooking at various levels, at the end of the day, it works as advertised. You can take any normal sized bag of cheap ramen, toss it into the microwave, and get some good ramen. And those little handles let you take it out without burning your fingers. This is why I'm giving it 5 stars. If I was a picky reviewer, and factoring in how I like my ramen, I'd give it 4-stars but that doesn't seem fair. But, why would you do that you ask? Well, after several tests, I've found the water fill line isn't quite enough water, at least for the ramen I like. The few times I've filled it up to the line, when the noodles are done absorbing the water/broth, for me, there isn't enough and the noodles start drying out. For perfect ramen (at least, in my view) with this, put in the seasoning first so its on the bottom of the container (if you put it on top, it doesn't get mixed into the water enough and sits on the noodles). This ensures all the seasoning gets submerged in the water and mixed in. If you put it on top of the noodles, it can get really salty. Then, place your noodle block on top of the seasoning and pour any broken pieces on top. Next, first fill it up to the line. Wait a few seconds while the water makes its way through the dried noodles. When it dips a little below the line, fill it up just a little over the line. Finally, put it in the microwave for 3:20-3:30 seconds. It says 3-4 minutes. I found right in the middle is the sweet spot with my 1000W, 15 year old microwave, to get the water boiling enough but not scolding hot I get at 4 minutes. Anyway, no more styrofoam guilt, and my ramen finally fits in the bowl.

SAVED THE LIVES OF MANY SAILORS ONBOARD A NAVY VESSEL
I had the recent pleasure of going on yet another deployment with the Navy at sea. Before leaving my co-workers and I filled the office with snacks and noodles and other microwavable foods because sometimes you just want to work through lunch or the lines be really long. For 4 months we had been heating our noodles in the microwave using the clear Rubbermaid containers. While the noodles were still good, you had to microwave them for at least 8-9 minutes and still they would have this weird taste to them. It wasn't until I was re stocking on noodles and other snacks that Amazon recommended me this little bowl that claimed it cooked your noodles in the microwave in 3 minutes and they would come out just like they would if they were made on a stove. It was cheap and so I decided to try it. OH MAN! This is the way to eat noodles. I had bought two packs of two bowls and ended up giving them to a few of my co-workers who now love these things. DEFINITELY A GREAT PURCHASE. Followed the directions exactly and got perfect results. I am going to recommend this to new sailors when they ask what they should bring on a deployment lol.
