Q: What brand bags are recommended and will fit best?

Hi Holly, Just be sure to find the XL sized bags, 11X13" or larger. I do also have bags that fit, and those are being made even larger in the next production run for a better fit. Q: The product description doesn't give the size of the scoop. Will this work for English Mastiffs?

Works fine for my Shep/Rot mix and my lab mix not sure about your extra large dogs but there is a larger one available.

Q: Does this use standard size poop bags?

I use this scooper just for picking up the poop….I then have a plastic bag or plastic bucket to place the poop in for proper removal!

Q: Can it be used with poop bags? I live in an apartment and don't want to get the scooper dirty and bring in the home

No, the poop bag is too small for this tool.
