I recently purchased a matte black cutlery set, and I have to say—it was a game-changer for my dining setup. I was initially worried about the black coating fading over time, but after multiple washes (both hand-washed and in the dishwasher), it’s held up perfectly. Initially drawn to the sleek black finish of this cutlery set, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment. After just two rounds in the dishwasher, the once-stylish black hue transformed into a peculiar mishmash of faded colors (see pics for the differences now seen). While the functionality remains intact, the unexpected and rapid color change raises concerns about the durability of the finish, and the safety of the metal in the cutlery I may have ingested. This cutlery doesn't have a lasting aesthetic appeal, and customer support has been non-responsive to my concerns, leaving me questioning the overall quality of the product and suppliers. If you're in search of enduring style in your kitchenware, this set may sadly not be the ideal choice.

I purchased 2 set of these because the were matte black. The description are said they were made of stainless steel, and they had a coating on them to protect them. Dishwasher safe as well. I started using them September 2024, now it’s July 2025. There rusting and are NOT made with good stainless steel and are NOT dishwasher safe.
