I finally got around to making sure this fondue pot worked, and it performs as designed. It's a striking design in the red color, and appears to be well made. It's not like I use it much, but bought it to go with my Swissmar Raclette for a neighborhood Swiss themed dinner party this month. I love that the pot itself is dishwasher safe! Nice unit.

This is perfect! We will use it alot. Excellect, adjustable comtrol keeps it perfect temperature.

Doesn't get hot enough to cook meat. The heat function kept turning off even though it wasn't hot enough to create bubvles on the skewer. Maybe okay for other types of fondue. Very sad to have bought this.

Excelente fondue

We used the Fondue Set for the 1st time last night for a family gathering. The set worked as desired. It heated fast and was easy to control the temperature. The fondue was an overall hit, HOWEVER....the power cord is most irritating! Firstly, the cord is way too short! I designed my own house and put outlets everywhere for convenience but it's absolutely impossible to place this set on a table and plug it in. Per the directions for safety, we had to use a heavy duty clunky extension cord to reach. This brings me to the Second cord issue. The "magnetic" power cord connection is ridiculous!! the magnet is way too weak.! The slightest movement and the weight of the extension cord kept disconnecting it causing the fondue to get cold and start firming up. Overall it is a nice fondue set and will not fail to please, just be prepared to keep a very watchful eye and wrangle with the power supply.

Sent as a gift, family enjoyed it and it's holding up well.

Nice quality

The dial is plastic painted silver and the pot doesn’t have a heavy bottom. The cord is incredibly short. How is anyone supposed to put it in the middle of the table??? Where the cord attaches to the hot plate, the magnet is weak, and it seems that just shifting the pot slightly would disconnect the cord. I haven’t used it yet, but my guess is that the cheese will burn on the bottom. We’ll see.

Really nice products. I would of given 4.8 just because the power cord is a bit short but that aside it's perfect.

Nous avons utilisé l’appareil une seule fois pour de la fondue bourguignonne. L’appareil n’est pas en mesure de chauffer l’huile d’arachide au-delà de 120 degrés celcius. De plus ,le,connecteur électrique se détache facilement, trop facilement, il faut ajouter des supports car le simple poids du câble provoque un détachement. Pour réussir notre fondue, nous avons dû réduire la taille des cubes de viande à celle d’un dé. Je vais retourner cet appareil, il me semble souhaitable seulement pour la fondue au chocolat. Je suis surpris, car les planches à raclettes de cette marque sont très bonnes.
