I bought this when I started having problems with my thinking. What I was thinking was not what was coming out of my mouth. I could not even follow a recipe because I would put something in and then totally forget whether I had added that ingredient or not. I would brush my teeth and forget whether I had done it, and I would be right in the middle of a sentence and not only forget what I was about to say, but I would forget what subject I had been talking about. My mind would go blank like someone had just washed a chalkboard. So I bought these to see if they would help.They were easy to take and they did work. But after a week of taking them, I noticed that I had blisters on my tongue and inside my mouth. Then I started itching on my lower back and shoulders, and around my ankles. After another week, suddenly my tongue started burning as if I had scalded it by eating something that was too hot. I suddenly began having intestinal cramps, bloating, gas, and eventually diarrhea. My lips began to swell until they were about 4-5 times their normal size. They split and cracked and peeled until they bled whenever I would lick them. My husband came in from work one morning and asked if he needed to take me to the Urgent Care. My face was swollen and my eyes were swollen past my lids. My upper eyelids were so swollen that I could not even fully open my eyes.Doc put me on Benedryl and I stopped taking the supplements. It took yet another week for the buildup in my body to get worked out of my system. So while I was not outright allergic to it, I did have a "sensitivity" to it that caused a reaction as it built up within my body. So while I like what it did to help my thinking, I can't use it anymore. I hope that what progress I have gained with my thinking won't go back to the way it was after it all gets worked out of my system. But I guess we will see.

I completely disagree with this skeptical review. This brand of Alpha GPC works so much better than other brands I tried before it. I now added Uridine from the same company and my ADD has been completely managed, sharpening my focus so I can work without being constantly distracted by emails and outside noises. This clarity has never happened to me before while I was taking any other supplements. My other family members are taking this too because we all have very demanding jobs as business owners and get depleted easily. Everyone is different when you're talking about brain chemistry. I'd say to the bad reviewers, look at your other supplements and your protein powders. What BCAA's are you supplementing with along with these? Is it a complete profile derived from clean grass fed whey source, or are you messing with estrogen ridden soy? If you're serious, you should get everything you supplement with in line to complement each other, and then you'll see better results with the utilization of this particular formulation from this brand.

I take this before working out and before bed as studies show Alpha GPC & Choline increase HGH levels which is known to prolong lifespans, anti-aging factors and increase muscle mass. This product seemed to be the best deal on Amazon. The ‘bonus offer’ is a cheap plastic pill container and not the luxurious container shown in product image- one star down for false advertisement. Also, read the supplement facts as the standardized amount is 50% GPC. I’ve read other brands are also only 50% but they don’t label it, I’ll give props for this brand for not being entirely misleading.

This should be repeated. I’ve repurchased this products many times and I still love its purity!!! Upon first opening this product, I was shocked at the size of the pills. They were smaller than the other brand that I ran out of. Then I checked the ingredients on back. I was shocked again! This product had a couple ingredients. My previous brand had a PARAGRAPH of ingredients. Fillers! No one wants to spend money on ingredients that have nothing to do with the actual benefits of the product! And not to mention I get more for my money!! Great company!Update: I’m so glad to be able to purchase again!! Pure ingredients. More servings. Great value!

So do not be deceived by this product's confusingly labeled Supplement Facts. You would need to take (2) capsules daily of this Alpha GPC product in order to get 300 mg choline per day. So at that rate of dosage a jar of 120 capsules would provide a 60-day supply.However, since 2016 the FDA has established a recommended daily intake (RDI) of 550 mg choline for American adults. In order to meet that intake without consuming chicken liver, salmon or eggs, you would need to take (4) of these Alpha GPC capsules daily.FOR COMPARISONOne large Nellie's Free Range egg contains 147 mg choline. And various info sources about soy lecithin give its choline content per 1 Tbs ranging from 250 to 370 mg. Thus, you can get about 600 mg choline (same as four capsules of Alpha GPC) either by eating four large free range eggs or by taking 2 Tbs soy lecithin granules. At that rate of intake, a 30-day supply of Nellie's eggs; 5 doz @ $4.70/doz = $23.50 That would buy you a heck of a lot more nutrients than simply GPC+dextrin.
