Angelcare Accessory Camera

We have had our Angelcare monitor (with one camera) for over 3 years now. We use it daily. When we first got it, the battery life of the monitorwas so short we had to constantly plug it in. A quick call to customer service, though, was very helpful. They gave us a new monitor that we have used ever since. The battery continues to last about 6 hours (so we do have to plug it in at night) and the camera to monitor connection is weakening a little now, but not bad. We can still see and hear our son on a different floor (we have a 2 story home) and on the other side of the house. Based on the other monitor reviews I have recently read, to have a monitor last this long and still work is a great sign. Note: We did not use the motion sensor for more than a week because I kept setting it off in the middle of the night by picking up my son and forgetting to turn it off. It was not worth the marital strife, so we have just used the camera from that time.So when we got pregnant with our second child, we bought a second camera. This second camera has a shorter electrical wire, which is why I gave it a 4/5, but otherwise works fine. We can see both rooms at the same time. We cannot hear both rooms at the same time, so we got a cheap audio monitor for one room. Otherwise, I am pleased.

The camera works well enough. Its difficult to angle and its not very efficient switching between two cameras on the monitor screen. But the usb style plug that actually plugs into the wall and powers the camera was broken. The box arrived beat up and taped, with a sticker that indicated it was a pre-owned/returned item, so I'm guessing it was returned and instead of replacing the defective apart they decided to just resell it to someone else. Its not worth the hassle of a return/replacement so we just bought a new plug.

I read many reviews and watched a bunch of videos. I thought this system was going to be great. I regret ever buying it. I switched to wifi cameras and I couldnt be happier. The picture quality is the problem. All of these systems claim to have good picture quality, but they are horrible. You can kind of see that the baby is there, but its so blurry that it could be the cat. Buy an HD wifi camera and a cheap touchpad and call it a day.Also the temperature gauges are so inconsistent. I got the one with the system and 2 more and I can put them side by side by side and they will read 70, 74, 81!!! Meanwhile it 68 degrees in the house.

I purchased this as an additional camera in my little one's room because we were gifted one and we needed another one. I like this camera but I don't love it. It gets the job done yes. Range is pretty good never a had a problem with the range. I love the magnet it is very stable. I couldn't give it 5 stars because the charger does not clip in and stay in place. Any little movement and the cord comes off. Thought battery life is pretty good.

Hand an older One without camera for first daughter. Love that it’s an all in one set now. I do miss the Little tick that would happen to ensure the pad was working that the old verison has.

Camera worked great for the first few weeks. It seemed to have overheated (temperature suddenly rose to 76) and since then is very blurry and fuzzy. The picture quality seems to be a recurring complaint. Should have read the reviews.. too late to return it. I would not buy again or recommend. I relied on this camera for my twins and can only see 1 baby!

I like the product but the picture quality on the new camera compared to the one I got with the set is poor. The picture is fuzzy and the night vision is not as clear. Its disappointing.

Bought for my bestie for the baby room and they love it.

Product is easy to set up and transmits well throughout the house. Pan and tilt could be a better, and screen resolution is ok. We had to put some electrical tape over temperature indicator as our kids sleep in a dark room, if your kids have a nightlight this will not be an issue.
