MUID Mushroom Lamp, Rechargeable Multi-Color LED Mushroom Nightlight

The cutest thing, and it works great. It's perfectly suitable for a night-stand nightlight. Multiple strengths of light: tap once for on, two for brighter, three for the brightest, four to turn it off. It charges quickly, and the feet work as a phone or tablet holder (or a small paperback book). There's an option for it to turn off after 30 minutes. It's light enough to move to another room, and it is very inexpensive, but not "cheap." Good value for the money. The material is soft and flexible, and thick enough to subdue the light, doesn't have the brashness of a regular table night light, but bright enough to read by.

I absolutely love the simple design of it. The battery lasts for all night plus some and it doesn’t take very long to charge. The ability to change colors and brightness makes it all the more worthwhile. It’s small enough to fit into a small backpack and take with you on trips so it’s very much so portable. The quality is great. The flat bottom allows it to stand up perfectly well. If I had one thing I’d change, it would be the way the charging port is positioned. The reason for this is because it has to be laid on its side when charging. For anyone else, this might not be an issue but my OCD makes me a little irked by it. However, I do like the fact that the port is in a place that isn’t visible when not in use as it makes the design look much smoother. Here are two suggestions that I think could make the product better: 1: I’d suggest making it so the port is deeper in the bottom of the lamp and a groove for the cord to fit into so that the lamp can be plugged in while still allowing it to stand up straight. 2: I’d also like to suggest the idea of including an option of being battery operated. This would make it easier for people to take the lamp on long trips without worrying about having a place to charge it. Of course, these are only my suggestions for how you can make your product more appealing to more people. Even without these features, the product is very well made and is very reasonably priced. Although, I do HIGHLY RECOMMEND you make the instruction/information sheet include translations for other languages, at the very least a Spanish and/or Filipino translations as it will help out a large portion of people in the West Coast of the U.S. who aren’t very fluent in the English language. I can’t say much about the East Coast’s non-English speakers since I haven’t been there in 10 years, so I don’t know what ethnic minority groups are over there. But my point is that I think it would do a lot of good to include several different translations for the instruction/info sheet to help with non-English speaking customers. To put it all the features in summary, this product is a very cute yet simple nightlight that’s easy to use, has a long lasting battery life of about 8 hours and only needs 4 hours to fully charge, is rechargeable and comes with its own USB charger, is portable enough to take on trips, is eco-friendly and toxic free plus BPA free and completely free of any scent, has several different color options, and has a great range of brightness levels that can suit anyone’s preferences. If all of these features are something you’re looking for in a nightlight, then this is the product for you. I recommend anyone looking for a nightlight give this one a try. I’ve included pictures of the product in both its main color and one of the many other color options, as well as pictures of the highest and lowest brightness settings. I’ve also included a picture of the instruction/information sheet. The instruction/information sheet is only available in English at the moment, however the product is super easy to use so you should be able to figure out how to use it without even needing to use the instructions, which that’s exactly what I did (since I never look at instructions) and I was successful in figuring out how to use it properly without any issues.

What a weird wonderful cutie!! He is bigger than what I thought he would be, which is great. He has is own charger and charges quickly. As for his looks, I've never seen a real duck lay down like this and that's why he appealed to me so much!! He looks like what most of us feel like at the end of a really, really bad day!! His name is now "Flat Duck"! He's very squishy, but sturdy, fits perfectly on my kitchen counter and is the perfect amount of light for late night kitchen raids!! He would also be a great addition to any young children's room. What a sweet face to see if they wake up in the middle of the night!! But for now, Flat Duck will keep my kitchen safe from any imaginary creepy crawlers!!

Just as wonderful and whimsical as expected after the New York Times wirecutter review. I was not disappointed. And, ironically, we had a 16 hour power failure the day I received the dock and had charged it up. It ended up being one of the most helpful things I had in the home for needed lighting. It gives off a much better and softer light than the usual nightlight or any kind of battery powered lantern. I highly recommend. I bought it for myself rather than as a gift and love it.

Bought this after the LumiPet didn’t work out… We’ve literally only had it for 2 days but so far I LOVE it! My 2-year-old abruptly went from being a great sleeper to all kinds of bedtime antics. I could write a novel about all the things we’ve tried, including a night light. The plug-in kind are too bright, changing colors on her sound machine is too much excitement, and anything freestanding or with motion detection is too tempting. I thought the LumiPet was the answer to our problem since I could disable the tap feature and set the color, but she quickly figured out that turning it off would reset the settings and undo all of my efforts… and then figured out she could pop the silicone off the base and then (oh no!) need us to come back into her room to reassemble it 203847 times. Enter this duck. 1) It’s easy to operate. Two switches on the bottom— one for the timer (15min, 30min, or infinity aka manual operation), one for brightness (off, low, bright). The switches are subtle and require some finesse to slide, meaning my 2yr old will have to put some concentrated effort into messing with them IF they catch her attention at all. 2) there are 3 different “tap” features to turn it on/off, which she thinks is real cool. It’s easy for her to do herself, but not so sensitive that she accidentally turns it on or off in her sleep. This makes me feel a lot better about keeping it on a timer, since she can easily turn it back on if she wakes up. 3) it’s ALL ONE PIECE, meaning I don’t have to worry about her taking it apart and doing god knows what. 4) the “low” brightness is still bright enough that I can see most of her room pretty clearly, but not so bright that it’s harsh on the eyes. The “bright” setting is very bright, but would come in handy in a power outage or if she got sick overnight and I really needed to see what I was doing. All in all, solid purchase. I thought I wanted/needed all the fancy extra features (RGB, remote, removable silicone) but the simplicity of this means my daughter can be “in charge” of it. Plus it’s suuuper cute to see her cuddle it to sleep

You should probably know two things: • The eyes do not eliminate. This does not distract from its cuteness, but if you’re expecting it to be fully illuminated like in the picture, it’s not. • if you are planning to gift this item like I was, make sure you have your own box solution as the ones they ship them in are consistently smashed. I tried twice.

I found out about this via a NY Times Wirecutter article. I looked at it and immediately ordered one for my ex-wife (yes, we are still friends). She absolutely LOVES it. Great gift for anyone, super-cute, good quality, and useful too.

I have this in our basement bathroom when hosting a game or whatever. I pop it on as the sun starts to dim and it provides such a nice glow in the bathroom. No need to use light with this on high. It's perfect! And folks appreciate the whimsy! Adds a little something to your avg bathroom experience.

I love this ducky! Great for use as a nightlight in unfamiliar spaces. It has multiple brightness levels so you can read or just not trip over stuff at night. It’s easy to clean. It holds my phone to watch movies or videos while I’m doing something else. The feet don’t get in the way of viewing. It’s lightweight but great quality. I didn’t keep the box but it travels well. It lasts multiple days on a single charge. Simple to change settings with a quick tap. No strong smell. I’ve had it for almost a year and zero complaints. Really nice item.

Repeat purchase as gave first one to a friend whose kid wakes up in the night. It has been very helpful and the rubbery touch makes it feel safer.
