I have used quite a few Tommee Tippee Gro bags as my little one never keeps her blanket on. This has been a life saver, as I know that she is warm and snug. The only thing I didnt notice upon ordering was that it doesnt have the double zipper as the other Grobags and occasionally it can be tricky to zip up toddler from the chest area.Soft and fluffy even after many washes. Definitely recommend.

I ordered the 1 tog sleep bag but I’ve just realised it’s a 2.5 tog. It’s a great sleepbag and fits my 8 month old well but definitely too warm for summer!

These sleeping bags from Tommee Tippee, seem to be the in things at the moment, keeping baby all snuggled up and saving on cot bedding, that baby can slip under, and get into difficulties.My granddaughter was born in July, and has been sleeping in these sleep sacks ever since, they are so soft on baby’s skin and easy to put them in and take out again. This is just the right tog rating to stop them from over heating (1).The sleeping bag has the blush colour design, it’s very very soft material (100% cotton) and has a double zip, with a metal slider on a plastic zip, that goes two thirds of the way round the sleeping bag. You can open just the bottom of the bag, so that you can change baby, without disturbing him/her. The zip at the top goes into a material cover, so it doesn’t rub against baby’s chin. It has plenty of room inside, once it’s all zipped up, for baby to move about.The label on the sleeping bag states that its fully machine washable on a warm wash, tumble dry on a low heat, and a warm iron only.On the sellers page, it states it’s machine washable at 40deg, tumble dry at low heat. I personally wash them at 30deg and dry on a cool tumble, and cool iron, as per normal 100% cotton garments.There is also a fire hazard label, so keep away from heat and naked flames.The bag is well put together, with neat stitching, and no loose threads.I thoroughly recommend this garment and my granddaughter wouldn’t be without them.

This particular bag is for 6 to 18 month old children and is 2.5 tog. 2.5 tog bags are good for the the cooler autumn and spring months and temperatures ranging from 16 to 20 degrees. Tommee Tippee has a handy temperature guide on the back of the box that indicates what clothing should be worn with the swaddle bag and under what temperatures. They recommend a sleep suit or long sleeved body suit is worn with a 2.5 tog bag. You can also purchase a Tommee Tippee Groegg that helps you to determine what the temperature is in the baby’s bedroom. We have used one of these to help us since our little boy was a baby. When buying these, it is worth thinking about what the weather will be like when your little one is aged between 6 and 18 months and choose the correct tog rating accordingly. Choose warmer 2.5 tog bags if baby will reach that age during cooler autumn and / or spring nights. You can get 3.5 tog bags for colder, winter nights.Whilst they aren’t cheap, these bags are great. We had a number of them when our little boy was small and were so glad we used them. The bags are made from soft and snuggly, cotton rich fabric. Both the outers and inner linings are 100% cotton.In terms of sizings, these bags cover baby lengths between 68 to 86 cm / 8.2 to 11.3kg. This is great, it's so soft and comfortable sleeping bag from the Gro/tommee tippee range. We’ve used these previously with our other three children and plan to use again in two weeks time with our latest addition. We have always found that our children sleep better with the security of a sleep bag. This particular sleep bag is beautifully soft and I love the shade of pink for our new daughter. It washes really well and hasn’t shown any signs of shrinkage. Sadly on opening the packaging there was a slight blemish/mark to the fabric that hasn’t washed out, but this may be because we’ve been sent seconds away reviewers. One negative that I think the brand could incorporate into their designs is using a double zip so that baby can still be comfortably zipped into the bag at the top whilst the nappy is changed and unzipped from bottom, I am sure previously this range has had some feature like this. The price range for this bag is on the higher side but you are paying for a reputable brand and good quality. We’ve always found the longevity of these bags, especially aged 6-18 months, makes the initial outlay become good value for money. Would definitely purchase again but would contact customer service if we had paid for the product that was slightly faulty.
