I bought these for some of my smaller electronics projects but primarily to light model cars - the headlights, taillights and even the dome light in some. These work great for that purpose. If you need to use a CR2302 to power your project, this thing is great. Soldering required.

Really nice product. Had issues with a circuit board and small space. The terminals to solder made this easy to place. Highly recommend.

I bought an auto darkening welding helmet at Harbor Freight tools back in fall 2019 and when I went to use it the batteries were dead. When I looked in to replacement of the battery it says non replaceable battery.? Does Harbor Freight expect every one to rush out to their stores to buy another welding helmet when the batteries are dead? Ironically the more expensive welding helmets have removable battery trays built into them. Rather than spending an additional $60 on another welding helmet I fixed my old one and now the batteries are easily accessible from the inside of the Helmet just above the darkening panel.

I got these to use on one of my model kits for lighting up the headlights. These have a larger footprint than I'd hope for but I was still able to use them. I did have one of the holders fall apart due to a bad surface mount tech used at the factory. Thankfully there were five in the package and was able to finish my project.
