Story Slam - Hundreds of Cards with More Than 600 Unique Story Concepts, for Endless Storytelling Fun.

We originally purchased this just for the kids, but after playing a few rounds with them, we couldn’t stop!The ideas written on the cards, are just enough to give you a starting point, but you’ve gotta use your imagination to make a story of it. The game definitely doesn’t do the work for you.It’s also appropriate for all ages, unlike some other card games these days. So we can actually laugh and have fun, without resorting to cheap humor and lame dirty jokes.The younger teens and mid-teens got right into it. The kids under 10 years old needed some help along the way.I will try to play this with my adult friends as well, and see how that goes. Should be fun. In terms of quality, everything seems solidly made. The cards are thick enough to have a good feel when dealing/shuffling. They’re not flimsy or likely to start falling apart. The only thing I would say could be improved is that the box is a single compartment. It would be nice if the box could have different trays for the different types of cards to make it easy to keep them separate. That doesn’t at all detract from the fun of game itself though.

Great fun for grandchildren and adults alike . Sparked some very interesting stories. Even our 3 year old grandson participated.

A friend recommended this and I'm glad I bought it. What a game! This is a fantastic and clever system to bring out one's creative side. Certainly will make you think !The package looks small but the play is virtually never-ending, with hours of fun that gets the creative juices flowing. It's enjoyable on so many levels, bringing everyone together as it gently guides us to be innovative and original in our storytelling. Clever concept, it's really a hoot and the entire family is loving it.

I got these in hopes to help my writing and the prompts are good but they don’t spark the imagination enough. It will work if I need some filler. Even as a game I couldn’t see this being that fun. Looks like it’s get boring fast. It needs more excitement. Once Upon A Time is a much better card game.

My 10 yr old daughter and I love this game! Sometimes she just picks cards out to spark ideas for her creative writing. She LOVES to write! And I will do anything to encourage that. So when I stumbled across this game I decided to take a chance on it. So glad I did because this game is not only fun but it’s an amazing tool she can use to help cultivate her writing skills by igniting her imagination. Win, win! This was one of her favorite Christmas gifts.

We received this just in time for a game night at our house with some friends - everyone had a blast! Even my non-creative (by his own admission) neighbor really got into it.The next morning I woke up to find my kids already awake and playing it! They heard how much fun we were having and wanted to try it out for themselves. We played it that evening as a family. Everyone enjoyed the game, and more remarkably enjoyed playing with their siblings and parents!Highly recommended.

I bought 3 different sets of story telling card games for my students recently. This one is more difficult than Tell Tale which are all pictures. I used this one with my 7 year old students. It is a bit difficult at first but they soon got the hang of it. The Action Cards were a hit among my students.

Received this a few days ago and gave it a go over the weekend with the kids. It's really a fantastic idea and well executed. Tons of game play card which makes each time we played a different experience. After a while of being serious and telling a "real" story, this can get quite fun where the stories become silly! Either way, great game and highly recommended!
