Review: Why didn't I know about these sooner? - These are a godsend. I have been wiring my house and fighting to keep wires secure and connected with traditional wire nuts all along. I also have arthritis, so after a long day of twisting down wire nuts, my hands were killing me. Then I started working in some shallow ceiling boxes that didn't really have room for the wire nuts and I decided to give these little gems a try. Boy am I glad I did! These connectors are as close to ideal as you can get (pun intended). Once the wires are stripped, you just slide the ends into a slot and you are done. They have a capture mechanism that locks onto the wire, providing a solid connection and preventing them from ever backing out, unlike wire nuts. The clear housing lets you visually verify that the wire is well-seated. As a bonus, they take up a lot less space than a wire nut for the same number of wires and they lay flat against the walls of the electrical box to allow more room for other things. The only negative I can think of is that they are not reusable. If you install one and then have to change what you did, you will have to cut this off, restrip the wire, and use a new one. This really is only a problem if you have really short wires in your box already though and at this price, it's no big deal to toss a few. Since they work so well and you can verify their installation visually though, the chances of having to redo one due to a bad connection are minute, unlike wire nuts that often have to be removed and reset to fix faulty connections. If you haven't ever tried these, don't wait. I'm pretty sure you will wonder why you used wire nuts for so long. Review: Simple and effective - What more can you ask from an item - it just works. I needed something to extend a single line to 5 other lines. I used these to be a board by putting a little dab of heat glue between two of them and then doing a small "u" bridge. Had the inlet wire on one end, and 5 outlet wire from the other opening. Very simple to put together because of the levers which hold strongly. Made a longer job quick and simple.

Simple and effective

Push-In Clean & Simple
if you get the hang of these connectors they can become your best tool. a little high on the price but it sure gives you a clean and faster job. the trick to these is to strip the wires a little more than a 1/4" and insert them all straight. make your bends first and then line them up evenly so that they are all parallel to each other and strip the wires to make final connection. They work great with #12 AWG - #20 AWG solids copper to copper only. Stranded wire gets a little tricky. Grate connection and test up to a 20 Amp 600V max connection with #12/2 NM wire. just make sure no matter what product you use is NEC approved and consult local building codes to determine installation requirements. Don't take my word for it, try it..

Well worth the Money
SUPER for junction boxes requiring more than 4 current carrying conductors. These are a no brainer when it comes to cost vs. time and aggravation of wire nuts. I like the fact that I can visually check that the conductors are in and secured, whereas wire nuts will sometimes push one of the conductors out of the connection point and it is not discovered until power is applied. I find that these are much easier to situate inside of a j-box as compared to 3 or more wire nuts.

Space saver, easy connecting.
These save a lot of space in small junction boxes. And, theyโre easy to use. I like these a lot.
