While I can't speculate on assurances that this is a GF or DF product, all I can say is that I've found it to be superior to other psyllium husks and powders I've used in the past. This one is ground super fine, and a lighter shade of beige than others, which can be be more brown. Be aware though, that the fine grind isn't going to make this "dissolve" in liquid. This is insoluble fiber, after all. Other reviews site clumping as a complaint with this product. This is simply the nature of psyllium, so you have to be patient in working with it. I've found that by adding it VERY gradually via slowly sprinkling it VERY THINLY over the surface of the liquid while stirring is the best bet to get it incorporated thoroghly without developing lumps. So go slowly. I don't mean it'll take minutes, but it will take more seconds than stirrig sugar into a cup or bowl.

This is great! We ordered it for our cat & it has been effective! Much better than the over-priced tinned food he wouldn't eat!!! Thankfully, That order was from Chewy & they have a great return policy!! This product is effective & healthier than an Rx that had to be forced on him, & he has been feeling MUCH better!!! Also, many local places list a version of this online But do not actually carry a natural version at all!!

This is a necessary ingredient for keto bread. I bought it because I read that it did not turn your bread purple. But I found that not to be the case. My bread was just as purple as it could be. It did not affect the flavor, so if you don’t mind the looks of purple bread, this would be a good product to use.

Great for cats who suffer from diarrhea. I use it on a daily basis as well.
