Great purchase!!
I’ve put off getting a stroller only because of the ridiculous amount of “things” I have for my cat, but this was soooo worth it. I wish I got it sooner. She’s a Bengal and usually screams nonstop if she’s in a backpack (I’ve tried two types), and I don’t feel comfortable walking her down the street with her harness, but she loves to sit outside in her catio and cries to go on a walk whenever I even touch her harness, so I wanted to try this stroller because it had a lot of room, and had the option of being half open. She loves this thing! She sits there quietly as we walk, and takes everything in. I would highly recommend! Super easy to put together, barely need instructions to do so. I haven’t tried folding it yet because I plan on using it everyday. Wheels turn great, no issues, even did a little off roading in the backyard and it still rode smooth. Came back to update my review after a few months. Our Bengal cat loves this stroller so much. She sits in it and waits to go on her walk everyday. Even if it’s pouring rain, she’ll sit in the stroller and yell until we bring her in a circle around the driveway. The only thing I wish was better would be the tires. After a minute or so, strolling on a lightly rocked path gets tiring from all the bumping around. It doesn’t seem to bother the cat, though- just me. It would also be nice if there was a way to get a little less shading on top and a little more mesh so she gets sunlight in whatever direction we’re walking. Otherwise everything is great and has held up great. There’s no way she could ever get out of this thing, unless she was left alone locked inside of it for hours- then she’d probably be able to rip the fabric part. But it would take a lot for her to do that, and she is Bengal with a lot of energy in her. I would think most other cats would never even come close to having that problem.

Great walking stroller for the price!
I bought this for my 5lb 13 year old chihuahua because he just cant walk as far as my heeler and I want to go and I always felt so bad leaving him at home! The quality of the stroller is great and I like that there's a basket down below for storage. It was easy to put together and is pretty sturdy. The wheels aren't a hard plastic like I thought they were going to be, but are instead a bit rubbery and are really quiet on the roads and trails. The stroller isn't meant for speed so if you want to do any jogging, I wouldn't get this style. A slight jog results in the front wheels shaking pretty badly and can make controlling the stroller difficult. The first few times that I folded it up, I didn't realize that it had a one-handed collapse feature and thought reaching down to each side of the stroller to pull up on the release levers was a bit awkward. I watched a video online and discovered that you on the big plastic piece on the stroller handle you push the button and twist and voila! The stroller will collapse for easy storage.

Great cat stroller
Our cat, Axel, loves his new buggy! This was a replacement for a very old one which had a broken zipper. He jumped right in. The best thing about this is NO zippers! The clasp in front works great, and is far easier to maneuver with a cat. He has lots of viewing space as well for his ride. Also, I leave it in the hall at our front door, and every afternoon, he jumps in it for his afternoon nap - so for him, this is a safe place to be and it is HIS space. I will also say that having one of these, and training your cat to enjoy it, is a huge safety technique as well. Twice, in other living quarters, we have had smoke alarms go off in the middle of the night. It was so easy to get the cats (we had 2 then) into their strollers, get them down the stairs and outside to safety. Cat carriers are much harder, and there is no time for a harness and leash, unless they wear them all the time, which ours do not. So the stroller was a great way to keep the kitties safe. Just a thought. Love this green color as well!

Happy Trails, Hard To Fold, But A Nice Stroller For The Price
I ordered this stroller with trepidation. I knew it would be a hard item to return if I didn't like it! But...I DO like it! Yayyyy! And more important, my chihuahua, Kai, likes it a LOT! He is a skittish little doggie, adorable yes, but not the friendliest towards people who insist on waggling their inquisitive fingers in his face. I don't want my dog to nip so this stroller is perfect to protect people who don't know that attempting to pet a dog who clearly does not want to be petted is asking for trouble. It is also perfect for Kai, who loves to be with me everywhere I can take him! And there have been times I wished I had something like this to keep him out from under people's feet while at outdoor picnics and the like. The stroller assembled easily. I was able to do 99% of it myself! BUT the directions were missing important things...please note that it is necessary when assembling the rear wheels to first feed the axle through the holes in each brake BEFORE placing the wheels on either end of the axle. The other issue is that this stroller is not at all easy to fold! There is a mechanism that clips the floor of the stroller to a support bar in the front. You MUST unclip this first, before attempting to follow the directions in the booklet provided about sliding the handlebar lock to the right and simultaneously pressing release buttons on the handlebar, while turning it 180 degrees (!) I know this sounds hard and the clip is NOT easy! But it isn't all that bad once you do it a couple of times. (Don't mistake the clip underneath the flooring with the one that is ultra easy to unclip that controls the hood/netting. That one is a cinch!). The color is pretty and true to the description. The pad is ridiculously thin and I added not only a flat pad to the inside of the stroller, but I topped that with a soft little fleece blanket. I popped Kai in the stroller and wheeled him around the house first, offering a couple of treat rewards for good behavior. He could see me out the back window, the front expanse of netting or through the top window. All were reassuring to my nervous nellie dog. He is 8 years old and loves to walk and he needs his exercise, but when he is tired of walking, I am sure he will appreciate his little bed on wheels! I will take him for a long walk tomorrow and see how he does when I scoop him up and place him in his new stroller. I am guessing he will love it. I know I will, because I cannot carry a 10 pound chihuahua very far due to my bad back. Here is another plus....the handlebars are perfectly placed for my height, 5'6" and are padded which helps a lot too. I am going to try out the wheels on paved road tomorrow and then I will re-visit my review. It seems solid enough and it was easy to use in the house even on thick carpeting. I tried out the brakes and they lock the wheels for safety if you are possibly on an incline or decline. You DO NOT want to leave your dog unattended! I would guess they could scratch their way through the mesh if really stressed out. We will see how doggie behaves when our neighbor's cat crosses in front of us! I think the price was fair on this product but I did call the company to tell them they seriously need to have someone who understands how to assemble this stroller to re-write the directions. I cannot give this product 5 stars until I check it out better and because of the silly way the folding mechanism was designed.

I should have bought this years ago!
I bought this Pet Gear dog stroller 4 months ago and I'm just now reviewing it. I love it! I got this stroller to take my chihuahua to a national park to go hiking. I was concerned about the durability, quality, weight of it, and especially how durable the wheels were and if it would make it in rugged terrain okay. Here's my take: The material is great quality, it was super easy to put together, I actually easily fold it up and put it in the back of my golf cart to drive to the park with my dog, and the weight of it isn't heavy, but it's also not too light (a good thing so it doesn't tip over easily and can handle a rambunctious, jumping, barking dog). The wheels can handle quite a bit of rugged terrain. Hardened dirt, small light gravel, typical hiking trail paths, pavement, trimmed grass, and sidewalk. I can very light jog with this stroller for a short period of time before the wheels start having a hard time keeping up. I am impressed with the wheels and I think they will last a long time. In the future if the wheels give out on me, I don't see a problem with going to the hardware store and updating the wheels on them if needed. It seems like a simple fix to me, but with the wheels it comes with I don't see that being necessary. How I use it: I use this stroller daily for at least a mile walk with my dog. I like the cup holders up front, the basket underneath is great for holding my bag full of stuff, his water bowl, poop bags, and leash if he decides he wants to stretch his legs. I'm a woman, 5'9", and it's perfectly tall enough to walk around with it comfortably. I feel like my dog is safe and happy in his stroller. I like to walk for miles and my little elderly chihuahua can't keep up with me for that long, but he also gets mad at me if I leave him behind so this is a perfect stroller for both of us. There's a place in the stroller where it's got a strap and a hook to hook the dog from the harness to the stroller inside which is a nice feature for some dogs, though it's not needed for me since my guy is mellow jello. The clip for the front works well and easy to use. I put my dogs favorite sturdy blanket inside and that's perfectly comfortable enough for him to sit or lay on. Sometimes I bring the stroller along for our walk even if it's short and I want to just get my dog some exercise because its a safety thing knowing if there's a loose dog or a coyote nearby I can just quickly pick up my dog and secure him under the screen and clip him in for added protection to give me time to go another direction. How the dog uses it: My dog immediately got used to being in it from day one (though he's used to behaving well and riding in the golf cart a lot). He was iffy at first until I put him in it, told him to sit, and started slowly rolling him around the house in it. The first time strolling around, he wasn't all too happy, it was new and he was scared. The second time I put him in it later that day he was more content and relaxed. Now he goes to the stroller and puts his paw up and spins circles to let me know he wants to go in it... a few times a day. I lift him up and set him inside. On a chilly day I'll leave the upper cover open so he can get some sunshine, on a hot day I'll cover it and he doesn't seem to mind either way. He sits nicely as I stroller him around and he looks side to side with his nose in the air taking it all in and enjoying the day as we walk. He'll stand slowly inside the stroller (he started that himself, I didn't teach it to him) to let me know if he wants to go potty or if he wants to walk a bit out of it. It's easy to push the stroller and walk him at the same time too. Then he'll stop walking when he's done and lets me know to pick him up and put him back in the stroller where he then lays down if his little legs get too tired. I love this stroller. My dog loves the stroller too much. The teal is a nice color. I highly recommend it. I never saw anyone riding their dog on a stroller in my neighborhood before. Then I started using it and walking around the park and everywhere having the time of my life with my dog. Now every week I see a new neighbor using a dog stroller for their dog. I even saw an elderly couple arguing over who gets to stroll the dog and the wife looked at me and told me her husband said he'd never use it and now can't wait to take the dog for a stroll! I have a feeling the neighborhood will probably have a dog strolling club soon enough. It's perfect for desert summers too when the ground is too hot to walk the dog, but the stroller is great for sun protection and getting some good outdoor time even on the hottest of days. Keep the water bowl handy and have fun!

great purchase.
our dog loves this thing. We bought it so we could take our dog with us on vacation. she was allowed in restaurants, museums, and stores. Our dog is very quiet. everyone thought she was a real baby. a few people who looked closer laughed. I thought my husband was nuts for buying it , boy was I wrong. this thing is awesome. Easy to steer, light weight yet well built. nice handle height, no complaints. love the storage and the snap closed screen. Folds up , and easy to open. 100% satisfied . We did put a dog mattress in for added comfort. She is our baby after all. :) And the green color is beautiful. not harsh in your face green. Get one before they're gone. lol

Excellent quality stroller, especially for the money
I've had this stroller for a few years now. I really only use it during the summer months due to weather. This stroller looks great and is made of very durable material. I love having the cup holders and the under compartment to store my dog walking items. It has held up beautifully for the many walks we have gone on. I was concerned about the wheels, as it is more difficult to push through the grass in the park, but those have held up too. Most of all, my dog loves his stroller!! He is 13 now and has a heart mur mur. He is very heat intolerant and can no longer make the full walk we normally take. At the halfway point, he is done. He readily waits to be put in his stroller and enjoys the rest of our walk while he rests. I am so grateful to be able to continue to take him on the walks that he loves so much. Wonderful product!!!

well made but design flaws
I had another brand of stroller prior to this one so I am able to compare what I liked about that stroller and what I didn't compared to this one. The front wheels are a pain! There needs to be a way to keep them straight (like I have seen on other strollers) so that they won't turn sideways all the time. I liked having one wheel in front instead of two now that I've tried both. They also don't go over uneven sidewalks as well as I have had before. Folding is weird. It keeps getting stuck on something but I can't tell what. Also, when I need to lift it up over my front step to get into the house, I would normally grab the front under the bed area and lift it up and it doesn't work because that is how it folds up. I have to reach all the way down to the bar that goes between the front wheels to lift the stroller over a high step. It is advertised as a stroller for a pet up to 35 pounds and I agree that it could hold 35 pounds easily as it is made with good materials, however, a dog that is 20 to 35 pounds is probably going to be pretty tall and there is no way that I can pull the cover over my puppy (who is a 20 pound Husky); he is way too tall. It is plenty long enough for him to lay down, which is nice if you need that, but if it rains or snows, covering him will do no good as he is not laying down - he wants to see everything!! I wouldn't recommend this stroller if you have a growing puppy and for the other design issues.

A great item
This pushchair is great. I originally got it to take my cat to the vets as he was too heavy for me to carry but it soon became a great daily outing for him. He was originally an indoor cat who didn't like going out, but once he was used to it he loved going out and seeing things he had never seen before.it is well made, quite spacious and easy to use. Easy folding and quick to put up. Wheels great, no noise from wheels, I thought it would sound plastic but they give a very smooth ride. Well worth the cost. Also the weight is not too Much found it easy to get it up and down stairs to my flat. Brakes work well. And it looks good much like a baby pram.

clasp issue
Purchased this so my elderly mum could take her much-loved young cat for strolls around her retirement village. However, the design of the single clasp is too fiddly for her and also requires more strength than she can muster to close (her failing eyesight doesn't help either) so she is having to fork out for another unit from another supplier which has a big viewing area like the Happy Trails one but uses a zipper instead.

Toller Wagen!
