Noiseless, Breathable Zippered Mattress Offers Complete Protection from Buggies
Loving this mattress protector. If you're searching for one, look no further. I bought a new mattress, so I needed to purhcase a protector to prevent bed bugs. At first I figured I could go cheap, so I purchased a mattress protectors that was vinyl. Unfortunately, the protector was cheap in both price and quality. Each time I moved around on the bed there was a noise of plastic rubbing, not to mention the viny trapped heat. Don't make my mistake, buy this quality mattress protector the first time around.I bought the Luna Premium Hypoallergenic Bed Bug Proof Zippered Waterproof Pillow Protector (1) Standard Size - Made In The USA (see mattress product link for my review on it)and Luna Premium Hypoallergenic Zippered Bed Bug Proof Mattress Encasement 11" Height - Full Size - Made In The USA. Whereas I had to air the pillow protector out, I didn't have to air the mattress cover. No strong chemical smell. I poured about 1/4 of a cup of water on the mattress and true to its word, it's waterproof.I really like the protector zips to completely encase the mattress. Some of you may look at Luna's cheaper mattress protector option, Luna Premium Hypoallergenic Waterproof Mattress Protector Full Size - Made In The USA. It has several positive reviews and I believe it is a quality product, but it does not zip to encase the mattress. In my opinion it seems a zippered mattress case would offer optimal protection from bed bugs.I'm very happy with my purchase. The mattress protector makes no noise and doesn't cause me to sweat. Most importantly no bed bugs! It is like there is no mattress protector on the bed, which is exactly what I wanted, invisible protection from bed bugs.

I purchased this for my son who moved to a new apartment. He said it fit great and covered his full mattress well, and he has no problems at all with it feeling hot or anything. It seems to work as promised...though no bed bugs there...just as a precaution as a good mattress protector in a New York apartment.

Good product
The 11" mattress protector fit my 10.5" high mattress well with just a tiny bit of slack. The textured top is very soft and looks quite nice.

Heat trap for foam mattress.
Spent $60 or so dollars on this, and it certainly looked like it would keep out bed bugs and dust mites or whatever allergens, but it trapped so much heat that it wasn't practical and I won't be using it. Made sleeping uncomfortable for my latex foam mattress. Unfortunate. Would probably work fine for a box spring mattress though.
