Q: How long do these last?

As long as there is heat to make the fan activate. I've had two I've been using for over two years and never had a single minutes problem with them.

Thank you for your question. The blade length for the AirDeco I is 8", and the blade length for the AirDeco II is 9".

Q: Will these Ecofans work on our ventless propane freestanding stove/fireplace?

Thank you for your question. This model of Ecofan will work as long as your stovetop meets the criteria for surface temperature and placement. The surface temperature must be: 65-350C / 149-650F. The Ecofan must be placed on the stovetop where it will receive some cooler room temperature air to flow through the fins on the top of the Ecofan from the back. We suggest placing it on the back corner, however if this placement is not possible on your stove top, please reach out to us directly through our Contact Us form on our Caframo . com website for additional guidance.

Q: Can this be used on a gas fireplace mantle?

you would need to know the temperature range the mantle would operate in - as long as it gets around 140-160 degrees and stays under 700, this would work to move heat and air. but if the surface you place it on is too cool, the fan will not blow or blow very slowly.
