WD-40 Specialist Contact Cleaner Spray, 11 oz.

This stuff is awesome! you can clean around sensitive electronics, plastics, switches, etc. without fear of damaging them like you would with carb clean or brake clean. it is a must have for your shop or garage, I use to clean everything except brakes or really gunked up stuff that is NOT around electronics. BUY IT, it will become your first choice for cleaning pretty quickly. :)

Wow, I was surprised how well it worked. Used it on an old poti from a well used electric guitar (pots are roughly 25 years old, never serviced before and it was getting bad). One spritz and is was as smooth again as you could wish for! Will incorporate this into my guitar maintenance routine for sure. Have not used it on any other electronics, so it's probably more a niche review. Can only recommend.

Clean the contacts in my throttle body and airflow mass airflow sensors that were under the hood worked pretty good to clean the contacts

I was skeptical to purchase this product and was pleasantly surprised at how well it worked. The on off button on our shredder has been working intermittently for 5 years. First I gave it a spray with compressed air, and then I used this product…I was sure I was gonna need a new switch or new shredder. Sprayed it, and pressed the button twenty times to work it in, and to my surprise it has been working ever since!!!! My only regret is that I waited 5 years to try this…great product

I feel that this is only a slight bit better than regular WD-40 when it comes to contact cleaning. I used it with a scotch brite to clean the contractors in my ac condenser. It did do a good job cleaning but was not a miracle worker. I did use it on another project and it worked much better on that one. I can’t say yet if I would get this again if in need of contractor cleaner, but for now I would say it was worth it. I wouldn’t expect anything earth shattering but it does its job well. You get a good amount and the application is easy due to the two dispensing methods
