Review: ESSENTIAL CHINESE FLAVOURING - I could not source this spice from any of my local supermarkets and was contemplating going to a food store in my nearest city to try and find it, but lo and behold! I found a large bag available on desertcart for a reasonable price and it was delivered next day! This spice is one of the "five spices" that you can get, but a lot of Chinese recipes use just the pepper. This is the whole pepper so you will need to use a mortar and pestle and grind them yourself. It's aromatic and has quite a flavour punch, worth seeking out!
