Enchroma Tilden Cx3 Sun Glasses for Color Blindness, UV Protection, Outdoor Color Correction

I know these don't work for everyone but for my 30 yr. old son......well, I couldn't video him because he used a lot of expletives. We only recently realized he was pretty strongly deutron colorblind. After a couple of weeks feeling fairly certain I was the "Worst Mother in the World" because of not catching this when he was 25, or 20, or15, or maybe 5 I chose to assuage my guilt by getting him a pair of Enchroma glasses. They were a little spendy for me if they hadn't worked but I relied on Amazon's return policy to convince me to buy them. Our yard is peppered with hundreds of seed from our Mountain Laurel tree. They are pretty bright red. He had never noticed them before because they were the same color as the grass and dried leaves. 30 years old and he had never seen that the bark of a tree was a different color than the leaves. He cried, I cried, his brother cried. I'm pretty sure the neighbors would have cried if they knew why we were laughing and swearing in our front yard. If they work for you they are amazing!!

This is a great product to help you see colors clearly! Unfortunately for me the online color exam reflected my need of Deutron lenses when in fact I needed Protan lenses. Just a minor inconvenience of returning 1 item and reordering the correct lenses.

Edit November 26th 2023. I have tried several times to contact customer support about my issue with no response. This company clearly doesn’t care at all about the people that they are supposedly trying to help. My shady rays sunglasses are still in great condition. I would never recommend these to anyone nor buy them again. So far I am very disappointed in these glasses. They work very well in correcting color blindness I believe. Honestly none of us would really know if we're seeing what everyone usually does or just a pinker version of the world. Unfortunately these do cause a pink shade to everything at first since the lenses are very tinted with pink. They do make red pop out alot more and other colors have more red to them which I'm assuming is a good thing sense I have protanopia which strips some of the red tint from the world. The main downfall is the quality of these. I have owned them since July and already one side has broken off. I went to put them on and one of the side just snapped off. Like plastic that had been bent to many times. I would think a pair of $250 glasses would stay together longer then 6 months but these didn't even make it that long. I don't even use them alot more then your average person. Probably the same amount as any average person. I have two pairs of shady rays sunglasses with lifetime warranties that have lasted over 2 years with no scratches and cost a fraction of what these did. Granted they are not color blind correcting but they are sunglasses none the less and built just the same. If a pair of $60 sunglasses can outlast a pair of $250 sunglasses in quality that's just sad. Also as far as I can tell enchroma offers a very limited warranty. Shady rays will give you two free replacements for life. Litterally. Do better enchroma. Just do better.

Had my boyfriend take the test to find out which ones he needed. Ordered and had the next day. First impression is that they were very "cheap" feeling. Not alot to them. He put them on and didn't really notice much as far as looking out and seeing colors. I had him take the test again without the glasses and he tested the same. Then I had him take the test with the glasses on and he tested the opposite! It kind of reversed his color blindness. Weird. He must be one of those....lol My friends kid had an amazing response so still try it as long as you can return if it doesn't work.

These were purchased for a 10 year old that we have been told he is colorblind. He didn't see much of a difference with the glasses. Not enough to pay the price. We wanted him to be wowed. Not saying they may not work great for someone else.

I got these for my colorblind brother for his 18th birthday and he absolutely adores them. His first reaction to putting them on alone was worth the price. He said that every color is more vibrant now and that “there are so many different greens”. So it’s safe to say while they might not be perfect fixes to get the same color sight most people have. They do get you pretty dang close. Would recommend for you, your family, your friend, even your dog if you can make them wear it.

Bought these for someone who is colourblind and YES they brought a big smile when looking through them the world of colour for the first time was viewed through the Enchrome glassess. Thx for making such a great product. First thing they said is the red pops.

Colours are so vibrant and I can see red instead of brown! They take a few minutes to get used to. My eyes get sore if I wear them on the beach for more than an hour so I find them better for city use and driving

Bought as a present for my partner. He is green/red blond and these made reds stand out so much more (vibrant). He’s now noticing things that he couldn’t see before.
