Bought to replace my letter box that some delivery wrecked while ramming a parcel through it! After taking a lot of measurements, searching and measuring again. I settled for this one as it nearly identical in size and style to my current one. I’ve bought a few things from Xfort and once again I’m throughly impressed. The build quality is great with a reasonable price to match. The unit is quite light weight where it needs to be and very strong and sturdy in places where it needs to be like the flaps, spring mechanism and screws. It’s very easy to open requiring little effort, which I’m sure the postman would appreciate. It’s very easy performs very well with keeping itself closed in bad weather due to the robust spring and at keeping out said weather with its dual draft excluding brushes and foam weather seal on both sides. Installation is made easier with the boss that helps get everything aligned, but I would suggest having an extra set of hands to help hold it in place while you screw it together. It looks good as it blends in perfectly with my door. I would recommend to anyone who needs a replacement.

Ordered yesterday and got it today so paying for faster delivery is definitely a good idea now to the product itself because of the other customers reviews we chose this one which is also amazons best seller and we can see why it’s an exact match for our old one and doing this review is taking longer than it took us to swap out the old one for the new one 🤯 it’s literally just 2 screws!! Having two people makes it easier because you need three sets of hands to hold everything together which makes it SO much easier and faster to fit . I don’t usually have a lot of luck with DIY projects but definitely don’t be afraid to have a go yourself save yourself some money just make sure you get the correct size measurements are important there are a few different sizes choices and lots of options for the different finishes.Great value for the money a quality item looks great on and is good and sturdy really just have a go

The black version seemed more robust and had longer screws. This one didn’t fit 100% even though same size ordered

Easy enough to install. I ha d to drill bigger holes but once this was done, it was very easy to install. The screws are simple to get in and once tight, the letter box is very sturdy. I like the weight of the flaps and they open all the way to make it easier for mail to be put through. The colour looks fantastic on my door.

Excellent quality letter box, seems to be very well made and robust. Exact fit for our old unit, only problem was getting it as source company would not send direct to my location, hence only 4stars

We were very happy with the quality and size of this product, it looks like a quality letter box, it stops the draft blowing in. My husband found it very quick and easy to install.

Installé sur une porte palière en bois , j'ai découpé à la scie sauteuse et perçage des 2 trous diamètre 12 pour les vis . Idéal avec les brosses pour occulter et isolé du bruit . Les 2 clapets sont à ressorts et sont très efficaces. Je suis satisfait de ce produit car c'est exactement celui que je cherchais.
