We installed these in our fire trucks, rescue trucks, and personal vehicles. Works with many models of Motorola two-way radios including R7, 1550.

We replaced the standard radio charger with these in all of our fire apparatus. These are much smaller, have the ability to be mounted in a variety of ways, and work well. I've used the included cigar plug on a couple of installations where it made sense but most of the time cut it off, add a fuse, and hard wire it in. So far these have held up very well. You no longer have the impress feature but this works great to keep them charged.

As the description states, it's a charger and it charges my radios.

Left battery in radio and put on the charger. When I returned the battery was more drained then when I put it on.
