Sir Dr. Park and the Dragon, Spasticity

This is an absolute must for children getting ready to have the SDR operation, was also extremely helpful for his peers at school, to help them understand exactly what our son was about to go through. 👍

True story for the little boy in the book and many other families with children with Cerebral Palsy and pursuing SDR. Written by a mother whos child had Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy and the journey they went on with the dragon spacticity tagging along...written in a way for children to understand. My children love this story and the understanding they have already after reading it a handful of times, is quite remarkable. I am ordering a couple more copies!!...cannot rate it enough and thank Alex's Mummy for writing it :-)

This is a brilliant book to explain to any child or adult that has spasticity from Cerebral Palsy and if you are considering SDR this is the book that your child must read and will help your friends/family understand as well.It has been written by a parent direct from their own experience and its perfect.

Brought this book for my children and their friends (and our friends) to help explain what SDR is and to help to reduce the anxiety of going for such a significant operation.
