what specifically are the 20% mystery materials? thanks

This scarf is 20% not cashmere. (It's also 80% not cashmere, for a total of 100% not cashmere.) The 20% is, like the 80%, some kind of petroleum derivative. Indeed, this scarf is 100% plant-based (meaning that 100% of the scarf was made in a plant). It's also 100% vegan and 100% bovine growth hormone free. No animals or plants were harmed. While the scarf is 100% fertilizer-free, the product listing is exactly the opposite.

Why does it say in the listing cotton scarf, when it's 80% acrylic. Isn't that misleading?

Really nice Scarf very soft and warm looks great too.

Why is this listed as cashmere when it is NOT?

I cannot speak to the seller's motivation, but it is illegal in the United States to misrepresent textile composition. The FTC takes a special interest in this type of advertising.

What does "80 % acrylic 20% other mean? And this scarf is not cashmere.

It says "80% acrylic 20% other" because the scarf is 80% acrylic and 20% other artificial petrotextiles. It says "cashmere" because the seller is trying to trick us into thinking it's cashmere.
