If you are looking the meanings of symbols forget this book. It has around 100 meanings - no sketches or real photos, just text. There are many websites in the internet that offer 200 of them for FREE.The author mostly explains her technique of reading cups but she forgot to make paragraphs! The supplied photos are on a different page so you go back and forth to check what she is talking about. After a few trials to follow her you need aspirins for headache. I definitely wouldn't suggest it to anyone who wants to learn the "art of coffee cup reading".

A great book that's so easy to read! As coffee cup readings are such an age old tradition in many European and Middle Eastern cultures, I found that there are not many resources to refer to in order to do them myself. Lana's book offers clear meanings with many pictures presented in the cup readings- as well as how to interpret these symbols. The dictionary type format listed toward the end of the book is a fantastic tool! The pictured examples which are given throughout the book I found helped enormously when doing my own readings. I'd recommend this book to anyone who might be curious about these style of readings. Its a fun, and detailed book, which you can read from cover to cover easily, or simply pick it up to skip straight to the specific meanings in the dictionary.

Don't waste your money. Poor quality pictures inside. Author rambles. Very disappointing purchase.

I have been mystified for over 20 years by people who can read coffee cups. This book not only unlocks the mystery and symbolism but serves as a practical guide for enthusiast and beginner readers.

Reading this book, I felt the honesty and warmth from the author. It was an engaging read and gives the novice coffee cup reader the direction needed to read coffee cups themselves. Loved it!

Easy to read but I couldn't understand the illustrations- what the writer was seeing. It might be easier to do an outline around the symbol.Reading this book had also made me believe that coffee cup reading is down to having a very vivid imagination.Also the illustrations are on a different page to the description and therefore you have to keep switching between pages.
