The cat bed feels soft and warm, and the color matches the image. Unfortunately, none of my cats have even climbed into it. It's also not beautifully round. After being squished into a box, it came out with sharp bends that show no signs of relaxing since arrival ten days ago.

Cats have a higher body temperature than we do, so they feel chilly when we are comfortable. This bed has a low-heat heating pad which is safe for them. It does take a bit for them to catch on that getting in the bed produces more heat, but they eventually get it. It’s NOT about pressure instigating the heat, as a previous user suggested. It’s about gathering the heat that’s already happening. A word of warning - my cat, Minnow, spent a few months initially refusing the actual bed, so I extracted the heating pad & put it inside a t-shirt that I’d used. BIG mistake. This is way too hot & causes skin issues. So just use it like it’s instructed. Cats really benefit from heat. Especially our Oldies.

Bought this for my senior cat who had started spending a lot of time leaning on the radiator.... she now spends most of her day in the bed. The "20 inch" is pretty large and cat fit one cat stretched out or two if they're willing to snuggle. As some other reviewers noted, the bed was a bit squished when it came out of the box but after a couple months of use it has rounded out nicely. It makes a gentle heat that only comes on when the cat gets it. I do wish that the cover was removable for washing; it's a bit awkward when it needs to be cleaned. All the same it makes my cats so happy that I bought a second one.

I am returning this. It came with a US plug, which I thought was fine. I got an adaptor and plugged it in. Fine. I noticed the bed was warm all the time. Cat in it or not the bed was very warm. And when you pressed on it with your hand it made a buzzing noise. Fast forward a few days and I’m smelling burning. You guessed it. Coming from this bed. The plastic heat pad in the bed was boiling and melted. The whole bed smells like a bonfire. Thank god I noticed otherwise it could have caught fire. I have another one of these beds that is the UK version and it works fine. Only gets warm when a cat is in it etc. plus the UK one doesn’t have a heat pad. I don’t know where this one came from but it’s a safety hazard. Not happy at all, especially considering the price of this bed. If you are in the UK don’t buy this pet bed!!

All of my cats love this bed. Immediately, one by one, kneeding the bed and curling up together. Very pleased as my cats are devon rex and need somewhere warm to sleep. The temperature stays at a very safe zone. Never too warm
