Got a key fob for my 2014 Ram 1500, but I had to program it myself using OBDLINK MX+ and the Android app AlphaObd. There are several helpful videos on YouTube that can guide you through the process. If you don’t have these items, you can always call your local locksmith to program the key fob for you. Good affordable replacement and would recommend.

So I purchased these (non-OEM) Key Fobs thinking I could possibly use their casing for my existing Key Fob and not have to reprogram but they are a different design internally so that wasn't an option. I brought these to ACE Hardware (which programs a lot of Key Fobs) and they went out to my truck, installed their OBD Scanner, entered truck information, but their scanner software indicated it could not program these keys. I then watched a YouTube video, purchased an OBD2 Scanner (VGate iCar Pro BlueTooth 4.0 OBD2), paired the OBD2 Scanner with my Android Phone, and downloaded an OBD Scanner App (OBD JScan) onto my phone. I followed the YouTube steps precisely and the OBD Scanner App gets to a point where it asks you if you want to purchase the License for the Vehicle's VIN ($25) - if you Opt not to do this, you won't be able to program the new Key Fobs so I went ahead and paid for the Licensing Fee for the OBD JScan App. Now here's another wrinkle, it turns out the OBD JScan App updated their software since the YouTube video was made so the steps through reading your existing Vehicle's PIN is the same but programming the new Key Fobs was different and the OBD JScan App instructions are pitiful, so I had to do a fair amount of guesswork and trial and error before I finally discovered the correct sequence. At that point, I was able to program both new Key Fobs. I then went back to ACE Hardware and had them cut one of the Key Fob Physical Keys ($25+Tax) just as a backup. Note: I've tested both of these Key Fobs in the Ignition and they start the Truck (2015 RAM 1500 Crew Cab) and the Door Unlock and Lock buttons work just fine (I haven't tried the Panic button yet). Oh, and while I was sitting in my 2015 RAM 1500 Truck for 30-45 minutes with windows down in 93 degree humid Florida weather with my head down going through instructions, my neighbor stops mowing his Lawn and comes over to check on me because he was concerned I was having a seizure or something; now that is a good neighbor!

The replacement keys are good quality and fell amazingly solid and they programmed with out any issues. The buttons feel good also

Fast shipping but they did NOT work for the truck intended! Had to end up paying a lot of $$ to get a set that would program to my truck.

Got these keys to program and they work just fine, only issue I have is that the panic button is a bit swollen which when inserting the key it gets pressed about 70% of the time. Need to either rip or file down.

Amazon auto said these would not work with my 2019 RAM 1500 Classic but as the listing suggested, they do! They programmed without issue in less than a minute. It took so much longer just to get behind the radio and bypass the security module. The buttons function as they are shown. These fobs don't feel quite as premium as my original, but they still feel like they are high quality enough. Maybe it's just that my original key is worn in nicely. Regardless, I couldn't be happier.

AVOID! How irritating! Ordered and waited over the weekend to find that what had arrived were just two empty key fobs, no electronics or battery inside..completely useless and not as advertised. The advert clearly states : “2 x keyless entry remote control remote key fob with electronics and battery”. I had read that some people had received empty fobs but the majority of reviews confirmed they were complete so went ahead and ordered..what a farce.

Got them programed no problem from the dealership both for 85$. They had the electronics inside and working batteries. Only issue is the panic button sticks out ever so slightly and gets hit sometimes while inserting my key for my 2017 ram 1500.
