Leading Edge Lighting Pair of 6" Oval Clear Lens White LED Backup/Auxiliary/Utility Light Grommet Trailer Truck,!

I purchased these because I wanted a cheap set of oval lights to use as reverse lights in a spare vehicle without using the expensive 24 LED lights I have in my main vehicle. These are actually brighter than I expected. I wired them up to a switch so they can come on automatically when I'm in reverse or I can turn them on as dedicated lights even when the vehicle is off if I need extra light (like when hooking up a trailer). They fit nicely in the holes I cut with just a little bit of silicone for added hold.My one complaint is a fairly small one. On every automotive application I've seen, the power wire is red or white and the ground wire is black (think of your car's battery wires). Well, when I first hooked up the lights they didn't work. It took some trouble shooting to figure out that with these lights, the power wire is black and the ground is white. If you're going to stray from the industry standard, at least include some instructions or label the wires themselves.

I put these lights on my ranch hand bumper to replace the lights it came with and they are bright. I have tinted windows and these lights greatly improved my visibility at night.

They fit right in place of the existing incandescent lights.would have 5 stars, but they are a little looser in the grommets than what I would like.I do not think they will shake out on the road though. If so, they should fit in the original grommets a little more snug.

They are good and bright. I used them as headlight for my zero turn mower. I dropped one on the concrete and it was unfazed. Tough.
