I've been looking for float frames to display some of my daughter souvenir 'notes' and these frames work perfectly! I love that there is no hardware showing on either side of the frame, instead you set up your art in between panels of glass that you slide in the middle of the frame. Frames can sit on the shelf or you can use the hardware that comes with them to set them up for hanging. Another plus are the gloves that come with the frames so you don't leave smudges when handling the glass. You also receive tape to secure your art, I didn't use it because I was too impatient (which is why they are crooked ;) I used larger size frames to display the notes in paid but you could also use 5x7 side for single or smaller items. Will definitely be purchasing again for other items, love how sleek and elegant these look.

This is a great floating from with two pieces of glass and great instructions. But what really impressed me was all the little installation enhancements that came with it. There are little (they really are little...even on my big female hands) white gloves, hangers, screws, nails, a tiny level, glue patches and even a tape measure (which is helpful, but it should be noted that the "Inches" side is not accurate. I measured the frame and it came out as 8" x 8", when I ordered a 10X10. Then I used my tape measure and saw that although the tape measure "inches" are divided into 1/8" sections, the inch is actually 10/8 of an inch. Kind of funny and still worked for what I needed.) Note that the frame is 1" in depth, so the picture will not hang tight to the wall. There is a slot at the top for the pieces of glass to slide into. The installation kit comes with little clips to hold the glass together. The kit also comes with some funky nails. As you tap them into the wall, the nail part slides further into the plastic piece. I used a dry erase marker on the backside of the glass to mark where the artwork needs to be placed. The kit comes with little glue droplets that were easy to place and use. Since it is hard to get custom matts in atypical colors without paying a lot, this frame allowed the wall color to come through which worked well for this Sargent (the artist).

This set of frames is such a great value. The frames are well made, as is the glass, but what I really appreciate in this package are all the accessories included. Gloves, clips, level, pencil, mounting squares, screws, hanger, and other doo-dads too numerous to be name. I managed to put together a lovely framed work of art for my friend all by myself. Take the dive and purchase these frames with confidence.

These are perfection! I cannot stand matting things. As an artist these are perfect for my style and a great way to protect my work. I will be ordering these again and again in all the sizes. These are quality frames. They come with hanging kit/ gloves /a little level you name it. They thought of everything. All you need is the philips head screwdriver. I love the tabs you use to keep the glass in place. The packaging is fantastic too! They take care to make sure the glass is intact. If someone does get a broken glass this company seems like the type of company that would help you out.

It arrived with one panel of glass broken. So the extra panel of glass took place.And one corner of frame was damaged and fell apart. Glued it back in place.Hang the broken side in the bottom make it unnoticeable.Accidentally, I threw away the card of email of the seller. But I got a courtesy coupon as compensation after chatting with amazonExcept for the effort to make it work, I am satisfied with the look of the frames, simple and stylish, the clarity, brightness, convenience of the floating effect. It canes with a tool kits of everything for hanging. Including gloves, wipe cloth, stickers to hold the picture in place, rulers, pencil, some little tools I don't know the use yet....multiple picture hangers and screws. I used the extra saw tooth hangers to hang a few other frames. So write a review to express thankfulness.

These are packaged with detailed instructions and the hardware needed to hang your picture. Especially for the price, the wood is beautiful. I keep extra on hand as I purchase from my fav artist to set for people and then give the boxes of the hardware, gloves, and level so they may use the frames however they desire in the future. These frames make lovely inexpensive treasures to give to people.

The light oak 11 x 14 that I purchased was the right color and size. No pieces were damaged. The glass and frames were packaged well and the assembly kit had everything imaginable including a level and white gloves.The glass fits snug so your picture might not work if it is thicker than heavy construction paper. I used drawing paper with some tooth and it was fine.It took two of us to do the assembly. Little bits of the veneer chipped off so we had to take the glass out again and slice off the puckering veneer in a couple of corners. Small inconvenience for a lovely frame.We had to measure carefully. Because my artwork is in charcoal we didn't have the option of moving it around on the glass once we set it down. We found that the glass doesn't sit as far down in the bottom of the frame and it sits in the top so we had to adjust our measurements because more of the glass is in the top of the frame. The floating affect helps showcase my artwork. I'm working in charcoal now and because of all the potential smudge factors sandwiching the artwork between glass worked well.I would purchase again.

Trying to take the glass out of the frame was very difficult. After placing my diploma I tried my best in place it back in, but the glass on the edge cracked. It seems like the slit for the glass placement is really snug. Will return.
