Bought this to do a nitrogen test on two mini split units I installed. Kept getting a leak on the vacuum gauge so I called the company and they recommended doing a nitrogen test to make sure. From what I saw, it was going to be pretty expensive so I wasn't really looking forward to it. Definitely wanted to do it the right way and not lose all of that refrigerant so I decided to get it done right the first time. Ordered this and rented a nitrogen tank from the local gas supply company and this gauge holds at least 2,000 PSI with no problems. I probably cranked it a little bit higher but I never needed to go over about 500 psi. The lines held great with no leaks so I made all of the connections and haven't had a problem in a couple months. Since I had the nitrogen tank and still have some gas left over, I also use this to check the AC system on a car and a truck. Still works great. Will definitely keep this for the next mini split I install I do.

Nice, inexpensive nitrogen regulator. I use it for pressure testing new hvac installs. I don’t have a manifold set and just use my wireless probes with an Appion megaseal. The hose that comes with it does the job but everyone I work with hates how hard you have to twist it to get it to effectively seal (it doesn’t bother me, so your mileage may vary). The regulator does a great job and the adjuster opens and closes the gas flow just fine. I can’t speculate how accurate the gauges are since I rely on my probes to check my pressures but the one closest to the tank does a good enough job to let me know when it’s time to grab a spare tank from the shop. 100% would buy again at a price point under $50
