HVAC Swaging Tools Kit Hydraulic Copper Pipe Tube Expander Tool 3/8, 1/2, 5/8, 3/4,7/8,1,1-1/8 Inch

I purchased this tool to repair chillers with metric tubing. I can only buy imperial tubing and repair parts. I use this tool to make everything fit together. For what I save purchasing copper fitting I could buy one of these for every job. This has been a good tool without any problems. The hydraulic reservoir is a small plastic or rubbery tube inside the handle. I don't know how long until this leaks or dries up and cracked. DO NOT REFILL WITH A SYNTHETIC HYDRAULIC OIL. Most synthetic oils will eventually harm most plastic parts. Overall a good tool at a fair price. The only thing that would make it better would be to include a 1/4 inch expander. You can buy one for about $35 on Amazon and there is plenty of extra room in the case for extra expanders and accessories.

Get a warranty for this tool. Because of the price, I purchased it a second time. The first one lasted a year. Seems to be very durable. FYI

I would give it 6 stars if I could. No need to spend 400$ on H. brand. This tool does everything for 1/4 of the costs. I used it to install 3.5 ton AC condenser and coil which needed swaging of 7/8 and 3/8 copper lines, and also valve tubes of the same size, and stub outs of the coil. Modern acs components are made for press couplings, but if you are not ready to pay $ 2,500 for a press tool - you need this swaging tool. Worked like charm - zero broken cooper, each swag had perfect size and brazed as it should. Highly recommended!
