Can these be used on 1”x4” Cedar boards?

The Kreg 1 1/4" Blue-Kote Screws will be the correct size and style to use with 1" cedar material.

Does Kreg have these blue kote screws in 1" or 3/4"? I'd like to pocket hole 1/2" to 5/8" plywood for a outdoor planter box. thx

The shortest Blue-Kote screws we have are the 1-1/4".

Can these be used for hard wood?

I would think so. You could allways drill a pilot hole but you would need a long bit. The one you have referenced are for soft wood and plywood. I think I would look for one that is made for hard wood. I hope this helps.
