Check your scfm rating for 4.2scfm@80psi. Most pancake compressors can only get about half that at 80 psi and therefore would not work well.

Is the AC fitting on the front removable? Is that adapter 1/4 npt?

No the AC fitting on front is where you hook up R134a or other refrigerant. The only other thing you connect here is the manifold hose. Only 1/4 npt is on rear for compressor
