More effective than expected! Quickly gets rid of muscle spasms and knots in my back...
I had reservations when I ordered this Rollga Foam Roller Point, as I had never tried any kind of foam roller before. Having severe muscle spasms in my back, I get desperate for relief and will try just about anything to calm them down. I honestly did not think this would do much, but it is much more effective than I ever expected. It is firm, but has enough give so that it is not hard and painful. The large size makes it very easy to roll out muscle spasms and knots anywhere on my body, but especially my back. I'm so glad that I did not pass this by, as it provides so much relief. It's fairly large, so I'm not sure how easy it would be to take on the go, but painful desperate times call for desperate measures. This is an exceptional desperate measure for those painful desperate times, and I would absolutely recommend it!

Great Roller For Deep Muscle Relief
I have several different foam rollers and was excited to try this one out.I do wish that it came with some instructions. But I played with it a bit and here are my thoughts. The grooves work as advertised, offering a deeper back release than both my normal or nubbed rollers. Also, the shape allows it to reach more of my shoulders than my other rollers do which is wonderful. The smaller shape makes it great for other body parts. It is much easier to manipulate and move around your body in areas like the inner thighs which can be awkward to use a larger roller on. And it is really great on the hips.I don't like the asymmetrical shape, however. The pointed end is gimmicky and when I was rolling out my back, I found that it felt uneven. I had to flip it halfway through to even everything out.But the plusses outweigh the minuses IMHO. I also love the little carrier it comes with!

Works Well, Good Size, Firm Roller
I pretty much hit up a foam roller every day. Before, during, after my workouts, or in the evenings as part of getting ready for bed. I thought the grooves on this foam roller would be nice in sort of alleviating the pressure on my spine when I back roll. It does that but in turn the ridges pick up that extra weight and really press into your back. This could be good for some but is a bit too strong for me. I have to lift a bit to lighten the pressure. Works well in other areas like the legs where the added pressure is more welcome. I did not fine the pointed end for pressure massaging useful. Too cumbersome to use for such a thing. The smaller size is what really appeals to me. Good for being able to use in different places without dealing with he typical long rollers that can sometimes be hard to properly locate. I also like that I can stuff it in or strap it to my gym bag easily. I would just as happy with a regular shorty roller for less cost but this one works well.

Very firm roller, unique small tip for loosening up knots.
This product came without any documentation, and the video on the web site explains why you should purchase and use the roller, but not how to use it really. I suppose if it were a standard roller, using it would be fairly obvious, but with all the grooves, is there an optimum way to take advantage of them? That said, I do a lot of workouts that leave me sore in various places, sometimes for a few hours, others for several days or even longer, so I’ve been using this very frim roller and it’s grooves go after these sore points in my amateurish was and I must admit the effort has left my body feeling better in a relaxed, slack sort of way. I’m definitely going to make this roller part of my post workout routine. The roller is described as medium firm but I don’t see how it could get any firmer. For the most part the grooves and ridges reach and relax parts in a welcome manner although on more than one occasion the ridges have seemed a bit too punishing. Still, the aftereffect is welcome. This is my first foam roller so I can’t speak to how its effectiveness compares to more traditional rollers, but so far I’m very happy with this roller.

Worth the price!
Ok, first thing I want to say is that I have seen many complaints about the price point on this foam roller. I know from experience that one trip to the chiropractor costs this much or more. So basically, when used regularly and as intended, this could potentially save money! As for the quality, it is a really dense, yet lightweight, foam roller. I love the compact size. My back is in love too! I have a kid that has been wheelchair bound for several months and so I have been lifting and turning at awkward angles and my back is screaming at me by the end of the day. Ten minutes using this in the evening to target my back and neck and I am so much more relaxed. The first couple of times I used it I wasn't sure because it kind of hurts a bit when rolling on it due to the density and size of the grooves. But after....the release I felt in my muscles and spine was AMAZING! I love the pointed end for really targeting extra tight areas. Really this is a fantastic roller in design and 100% worth the price!

Great quality foam roller with a point to get that really tough muscle knot!
The foam roller from Rollga is dense but lightweight. It's sturdy enough to hold body weight without conforming. The price for this roller is comparable to others available online. So you might be wondering why you might need one of these? These types of rollers are great for self-massage of the neck, shoulders and back. I have been to physical therapy many times for neck and shoulder pain. I was given a tennis ball to obtain relief and release muscle tension. This works great but you can only get one small area at a time. This foam allows you to cover a larger area and is much easier than trying to chase a tennis ball! The pointed end allows you to pinpoint the area of a muscle knot. I tried this on my shoulder with the opposite end of the roller against the wall. It worked so well! Really allowed me to dig and have all the control over the amount of pressure applied. Overall, I'm really pleased with this roller and would definitely recommend for anyone looking for help with muscle tension.

Way too soft
I did not like this roller. I felt it was way too soft if you want to get help with the point. I returned it.
