Fall into Temptation: A Small Town Love Story (Blue Moon)

Second in the Blue Moon series; works as a standalone. Told from alternating perspectives. Like other Score books, this features a quirky small town, likable characters and a page turning plotline. There's no suspense, but lots of small town activity - classes at the local yoga studio, hilarious town hall meetings, a Halloween festival. The heroine has a couple of adorable and believable kids. Single mom, opposites attract, should we or shouldn't we. ( He's her landlord and she doesn't want to confuse her children.)

I really liked this book, Beckett and Gianna were a cute couple. I found their breakup kind of hard to believe but it was ok and Beckett worked hard to get Gianna back. I think my favorite character was Evan. He actually had a lot of growth through out the book and it was fun to see him grow up and flourish with love and attention from Beckett.

With a husband for a lawyer and myself as a yoga enthusiast this book totally did it for me! It’s the perfect fall. Read that gets you right in the mood for fall festivals, and autumn leaves! The romance is perfect with just a touch of spice!

What can I say about Blue Moon and it's residents?“There’s no place else I’d rather be.”I LOVED reading this book! The light hearted, kid loving, silliness warmed my heart on a particularly rough work day.** #Lucyscore , it was the babysitting makeovers scene and I didn't know how much I NEEDED it! 😂 Thank you SO MUCH for including it!I love the warmth in the characters, the humanity, their flaws and their willingness to learn, grow, admit defeat and wrongdoings, and work hard to do better.With each new series, I SWEAR "THIS TOWN" is my FAVORITE! But then I start a new series, and I find another "NEW FAVORITE " Small town".Growing up in a small town, (not nearly as ideal as ANY of Lucy's) and as a certifiable hopeless romantic, it's like I was born to read Lucy's books.So it's easy to see that Lucy was born to write the books I love to read, among all the many other genres I read as well.I guess we're a good fit. ❤️

Small town love story with nosey town folk and meddling family! Great easy read that isn’t too spicy 🌶️! Great story of the live and closeness that family and small towns give us!

Beckett will always be one of my favorite main characters. He is so strong, sweet and loyal! Another great read by Lucy! And just sucks me deeper into a fictional town I wish was a real place! Having a rough day? Escape to Blue Moon!

I wasn’t quite sure how to rate this book/series.Two books in, and I haven’t quite vibed with Lucy’s writing style. It reminds me a lot of 80s/90s romance books, with a very traditional writing structure, only a hint of dual POV - but leaning more into omnipotent narrator - and vague descriptions for the spicy scenes. There were quite a few times I was frustrated with the grammar, and noted several sections where she’d use the same descriptive words over and over. Also, why are we getting character descriptions in the epilogue??A big hit for me was that I felt like I got more character info and depth for Beckett in Book 1 than I did here. I wish we’d have gotten more of our main couple learning about one another and working through things together rather than all their development happening separately and/or internally. The timeline was also all over the place. It would seem like we were going at a steady pace of weeks or months at a time, and all the sudden they’d be like, “I’ve been back in town 3 days” or “we’ve been together 2 weeks” or “the wedding was planned in 1 month”. It drove me a little crazy.This book seemed spicier than the last one, but I read them both so fast, I could be misremembering. No spice until about 50% through, which isn’t a point for or against.The win for this book and the series as a whole, is that I adore the characters and especially the community. The side characters are just as lovable as the main couple, and make me want to continue the series.

Another beautiful love story without many plot twist. A quick and fun read and on my way to book three of the series.

Book two took it to a whole other level for me. The story is so heartfelt (with a side of spice)! Anyone that has been a single mom trying to do it all, dreams of a day that a man comes in and just accepts your kids as his own and all your flaws along with them! Well done Lucy Score!!

Even better than the first one of the sequence. The characters ate really captivating. This one is a page-turner! Looking forward to the next one.

A great instalment in this new series. I’m loving the characters in blue Moon and I love the concept of this wonderful town. Storylines are unique and heartwarming. I can’t wait to see who’s up next the narration is excellent as well.

Die Geschichte rund um Beckett und Gia war erneut leicht und unterhaltsam. Die Protagonisten brachten mich oft zum Lächeln und es knisterte unglaublich zwischen ihnen. Die Liebesgeschichte entwickelt sich sehr authentisch, beide Charaktere wachsen im Geschichtsverlauf über sich hinaus.Lediglich der Konflikt am Ende erschien mir etwas unsinnig. Man versteht zwar, warum Beckett und Gia so handeln, wie sie es tun, aber sie verhalten sich plötzlich wie zwei bockige Kinder. Ich finde, wenn zwei Menschen einander lieben und wegen eines kleinen, unsinnigen Streites nicht von alleine wieder zueinander finden und keiner bereit ist, sich zu entschuldigen, um wieder gemeinsam glücklich zu sein, dann gehören sie auch nicht zusammen. Die Einmischung aller anderen, um Beckett und Gia wieder zusammenzubringen, erinnerte mich sehr an die Mittelstufe in der Schule. Für mich waren Gia und Beckett zum Schluss einfach kein Paar mehr.Ansonsten gefiel mir das Buch aber sehr gut und auch der Tiefgang der Charaktere und das Setting von Blue Moon waren toll.

I'm loving the people of Blue Moon, they lighten my life. Bucket and Red's story was both fun and emotional, I loved every minute I spent reading it.
