Each entrance is a separate room for three bird families.

Can this birdhouse be mounted on a pole? If so which pole would it be compatible with? I don’t have anywhere to hang it.

We found a steel fencing pool that already had a flat top with holes for bolts and we just bolted the house to it.. however, since it gets pretty windy in northern az... we first embedded the pole in a cement filled bucket and burried the bucket. It has withheld the 30 miles an hour winds we get. We also put flexible tile, skateboard grip tape.

Will a chipmunk fit in here?

Chipmunks will fit in any small place. But I have never seen them in any of my bird houses .I have 7 houses up.
