Since Sony likes to only give you enough ports to just do two things this is the problem solver for that issue. It was super easy to install, took a whole 4 seconds, only because I installed it and then uninstalled it because it was too easy and was not sure if I did it right the first time. Yes it was that easy that I doubled myself... All ports work perfectly, and I am now able to connect my base cooling station, with two controller charger, and still have enough ports to plug my type c devices and USB3.0 devices without having to unplug anything.

Bottom port charges and USB for ASTRO A50. Controllers, G923 Racing wheel in the others. Lights up to show connection. Works perfectly for me

I don't know why this thing has so many ports because once you use more than 2 it stops working. Not necessarily its fault, it's just how the ps5 was designed apparently. Once more than 2 devices are plugged in it reduces the functionality of the port to only low power charging. But at least the design is in line with the theme of the console and the type-c port is perpendicular to the console. Why they feel the USB-C port should also somehow connect to the other ports is beyond me.
