Exceptional quality
I must have the one dog that still made nail clipping a chore even with this sling! My Pomeranian puppy is only 3.5 months old, and I have had her since 8 weeks - I know she has not had any nail clipping trauma (into the quick), and I have been training her on being touched on her paws, ears, etc since day one. So why she is still so feisty about getting her nails clipped is beyond me...I saw this product and thought this is it! This will make her chill out and hold still long enough for me to get the job done.Well, let me tell you...it still wasn't easy. I think my puppy is a firm believer in "my body, my choice!" because she absolutely hates anything grooming or leash related. Like I said, I've been training her since day 1 when I got her at 8 weeks old. She's been in puppy obedience class and gets walked daily but still tries to insist on carrying her own leash. This pom has a personality and is going to be a stubborn one to train! After I got her in the sling, she did just hang there...at first. Then I tried to massage her paws and got out the nail clippers. Then the chaos ensued. She twisted and turned and treaded water like she was being chased by a chainsaw! She managed to get her head into the arm hole a few times and it was very frustrating for me! I finally had to tell her to stop being ridiculous and I had to hurt her little feelings. I don't think she thought I'd ever raise my voice to her like that, so after that she simmered down enough for me to get her nails clipped and paws trimmed.I bought the XS and it was very well made and I got it with a coupon, so my cost was under $15. I had no issues getting her into it (before she realized what was going to be done anyway), and hung her up on some over the door hooks - that was a no-go. She used the side of the door to push off of and so I had to go with plan B...clipping her to the wire shelves in my pantry where she had no wall to push off of. I am in hopes that when she is full grown it will be harder for her to twist around in it and get her head out of the headrest and into one of the arm holes. She's about 2.5 lbs now (with the personality of a full grown sassy woman!). I've got my work cut out for me!With all that said, I was able to complete my mission of clipping her nails, which I have not been able to do the last couple times I tried. Just don't expect that this is going to magically cause every dog to go limp and be docile! If you have a feisty one, they are still going to put up a fight so be prepared! Have some treats on hand beforehand, and all your supplies ready.

Seems like it'll do
Haven't gotten to use but did try it on my 10 lb Yorkie. Seems like he'll stay still for nail and paw trim.

The dogs were very calm
I ordered an XS for a 5 and 11 lb dogs. Before, I would clip one nail and they would go crazy. I would have to wait til next day to try to clip another. When I put them in this sling, there was no crying, biting, or scratching me. I love it.

Xs too big for chihuahua
Second harness I buy because my dogs freak out on nail trims. This one is smaller than another brand I tried but it’s still big. I mainly wanted it to fit our 6 pound chihuahua so if your dog is that size or even smaller I’d say the route to go is xxs in whatever brand you find it in. It does fit better than the other one I have, I felt like to make it work I had to twist lot of fabric around her that then her neck would be closed off so that’s why I tried this. I will say I really love that it comes with hooks and straps so trying to find something to hang her on is so much easier with this kit. Even if this isn’t a good fit it’s better than the last one I was using

Holes are way to big had to sew them up

I may get one or two uses
But it will still be worth it. It holds the dog and I don't have to worry about them hopping our or biting to prevent me from cutting the nails.

Good for some dogs
I'd heard good things about a hammock for nails. We have 8 dogs & my husband always protests when he has to help. Thought this would solve the problem & I could do it by myself...unfortunately the dog can still move & pull it's legs & feet away if they want to. The 6 lb yorkie was a problem & I couldn't get her nails 100 %. The min pin mix was fairly good. All in all it's OK. I bought a pull up bar & attached the hammock to that.
